Q: How do you clean each of the 2 filters? Or do you need to buy and replace?

A: You can vacuum each filter with the brush attachment of the hose. When the pre-filter begins to get thin it is time to replace it and when the white HEPA filter begins to turn grayish, then it's time to change that one, as well.

I use it mainly for the heat, but I do run the fan when the heat is turned off. I’m a little confused at how the auto feature on the heat works because as far as I can tell there is no way to set a temperature so I just turn it on till the room is warm. The remote is nice to have and easy to work.
