A: Your black hair will stay black but the dye may add a hint of red only visable in the sunlight. If you wish to avoid this only use the on areas where you wish to see the color

Pretty at first like cotton candy but then it started to turn grey. I have curly hair so now it’s like the murky grey color that won’t wash out. On the plus side there was no staining and it didn’t make me break out despite me being allergic to everything under the sun. I won’t give up on this hair dye yet but I won’t choose purple again.

Such an awe full product !!!! Do not buy this !!!! I have ordered 2 jars of this ! One I have used and it barely covers a shoulder length hair cut . So I ordered another one which has been in the shipping process for over a month so I can’t even cancel it ! Do better Target !!!!! Also started with bleached blond hair and the blond shows through !!!! I do not recommend buying this product ! It is awful and shipping time is a joke !!!!!!

Very vibrant pink. I tried diluting it with conditioner but it was the same on strands that were not diluted. However, the diluted sections did fade faster. The last pic is only 1 wk faded, but we were in FL fun & pools. It colors very well on my hair, which is brown but highlighted.

Although my hair is red, it bleeds excessively. My bathtub is a nightmare each time I shower and I’m stained red— would not recommend. I’ve tried other products that give the same pay off color but the bleeding is more contained. :/

If you’d like to dye everything in your house neon red, then by all means buy this. Manic panic - is what I did after it stained my countertops, my bathtub, my sheets, my walls, my towels, and even my CLOTHES. Do not pass go, do not collect this product.

I was surprised how vivid this came out on light brown hair without lightening first. Worked very well. Stained skin and my bathtub more than other dyes I’ve used in the past and required some hard scrubbing to remove.

Color is true to bottle, but results are splotchy if diluted with conditioner. I usually use arctic fox and it gives consistent results even if diluted. (Was on a rush to dye my hair and didn't have time to order artic fox, so I tried manic panic)

I've bought this brand before, it is thin & very messy. I had color all over me & was rushing to get it off of my face & neck before it STAINED!! When rinsing, be prepared for a major excess bleeding of the color...It was a mess! I rinsed & rinsed & rinsed...I had to wash it 4 times to stop the color run-off...GEEZ!!!

Is my hair red? Yes. Is my tub, bathroom, towels, floor, and bedding red? Also yes. I've used arctic fox for years for vibrant purple hair but wanted to go red for halloween. Now, every time I take a shower (cold water, hot water, it doesn't matter) my bathroom looks like a crime scene. It's been a week and it's still going strong every time my hair gets at all wet. If you need red hair and don't care about the consequences this does the job, but I won't use it again because the red color particularly is rather disturbing to wake up to splattering your pillow.

I'd give this a 5 Star rating, as it left my hair soft, healthy, and an amazingly vibrant shade of pink, without needing to bleach my hair (naturally dark blonde/lt brown), but the dye is thin and gloopy (a bit hard to apply) and it bleeds/transfers everywhere!! My skin, my nails, my shower, my shirt...it's all hot pink! Maybe it's because this is from Target, but it's definitely not the ManicPanic I used to buy at Hot Topic back in the day.
