The low loft bed is a popular choice for maximizing space in smaller rooms, particularly for children. Many guests appreciate its height and the play area underneath, making it a fun addition to any child's bedroom. While assembly is generally straightforward, some guests have noted concerns about stability and the quality of materials. Overall, it offers a good balance of functionality and aesthetics, though some improvements in sturdiness and odor management could enhance the experience.

This low loft bed was
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This low loft bed was perfect for our lower ceilings and saves space in my daughter’s room. She absolutely loves it. I put it together over four hours by myself and it was alright. Had to get hubby to help hold up the frame at one point, but that’s it. Lots of parts so make sure you’re organized! It does wobble a bit, but that’s expected with the four unbraced legs. So, I placed it against the corner of the room, tightened all the bolts and made sure the ladder was secure. For the price, it’s fantastic. Does have a moderate “new furniture” odor. I could still smell it a week later. I was a little concerned about the barrier on the ladder-side only being held in place with three small screws on one end (cluster attached to the frame), dowel pieces on the other. Not a generational piece, but it will do for a few years until her teens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems durable enough to last a long time. It will fit our need. There's a smell to the furniture that I'm still waiting to dissipate after two weeks.

The bed really isn’t quite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bed really isn’t quite as sturdy or well-built as we would like, and some of the bolts keep coming loose. The headboard also was not attached properly upon arrival, but it’s not structural, so we opted to fix it ourselves later. We had planned to purchase another of these beds when our youngest is old enough for it, but we may just try to build a loft bed ourselves, since there doesn’t seem to be anything affordable AND sturdy on the market these days.

Cute bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we do like the bed, it was not too difficult to assemble. We have been using it for a few weeks for our daughter who is almost 3 so pretty small and the ladder hook has warped and is no longer secure, the screw is small that was holding this portion in place and it ripped out and cracked the frame right there. Not sure what was going on when this happened but the ladder is not very safe until we can get this fixed. It seems like the ladder hook was bent pretty easily, our daughter is less than 30 lbs

Wobbles like crazy, so disappointed.
DO NOT PURCHASE. I regret this so much. The weight limit is deceiving. It shakes like crazy even when my 36 lb. five year old gets into bed. Does not seem safe and moves around like crazy with just one small child on it. I worry the legs will break. We've had it for less than a year and it's been wobbling the entire time.

Smells, the color is off and it shakes
We ordered pecan but it’s as dark as walnut. The bed smells, I find it hard to believe it’s low VOC and green guard. It is also wobbly. the height is nice, I would not recommend. I would pay more money to not want to vomit upon entering my daughters room.

Low loft great for my toddler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for our almost 3 year old who’s been sleeping in a toddler bed for the past year. The edges are high enough to where I don’t feel like she’s going to roll out in the middle of sleep. I also love that the ladder is slanted to make it easier to climb in and out. The added space to play under the bed is also nice. We got the max and lily chair lounger for a reading space and future sleepovers. The only thing I’d say is I wish there were a little more support between the legs like the taller bunk beds. It’s a little wobbly. Also, the stickers they stuck to identify pieces don’t come off well, so there are stickers and residue.

Too long for traditional twin-huge gap
This bed has not broken on us at all. So I will start by saying the structure is there. We do have to tighten all the bolts once in a while to make sure it’s not too shaky. The bed came with a huge gap. It’s way longer than an average twin mattress and we have to stuff pillows in the gap so no one falls through. We added a toddler safety rail because the one it came with is just not tall enough for my liking with littles. The wood is so easily scratched and damaged. The paint is scratching off everywhere. I probably would have returned it if it wasn’t such a pain to put together in general because of it being a loft bed, not because of the product instructions. We zip ties pool noodles so our kids wouldn’t bump their heads and my younger child now has a mattress under it. We’re looking to upgrade to a regular bunk bed but will pass on Max & Lily because of the gap where the mattress was suppose to fit in the loft.

Three years later, we are replacing this.
I bought this bed in 2022. Three years later we are replacing it with another brand because the wood is soft and the bed sways way too much for my average size five year old. We've tried many things to strengthen it and make it more sturdy, but the quality of the wood is impossible to get around.

Sturdy & easy to assemble.
At first I was a little intimidated by the amount of pieces that arrived, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy and straight forward the assembly process was. You definitely need two adults to assemble. Feels sturdy and perfectly safe for my 3 year old. He LOVES it! We also got him the little bookshelf to hang on the side for his water & books. I wish there were more specific dimensions listed on the website. Like what is the clearance from the floor to bed, so I can know how tall of a bookshelf I can slide underneath. Also the width of the bed that's listed seems to include the ladder. I would've liked to know the width of the bed frame not including the ladder as well. It fits well in his small bedroom but as a planner I needed to know these details for arranging the room layout.

Not sturdy
Looks cute but it doesn't feel safe. Wobbly with my 40lb child on it and I don't feel safe going up there (I weigh 137 lbs)
