This mascara does NOT live up to the hype. The brush is very stiff. The formula goes on ok, but dries stiff as a board. This mascara is running under my eye within an hour., There are several drugstore brands/formulas better than this. So disappointed :(

I love that you can see a dramatic change to your lashes volume and size right in the first layer! But I personally like to do multiple layers since my natural eyelashes are so tiny!

Living in LA, I’m constantly out in the sun or spending time by the pool, so long-lasting makeup is a must. This mascara stays put all day: no smudging, no flaking, no weird transfer. It gives really nice volume without clumping, and my lashes look full and lifted but still soft and natural. The brush is big but easy to use — it coats and separates quickly without much effort. I love that I don’t have to think about touch-ups or worry about it melting off in the heat. It does take a proper remover to get off (I use a good oil-based one), but that’s expected with anything waterproof. If you’re looking for a reliable summer mascara — especially for pool days and sunny weather — this one’s worth trying.

It has rained alot recently and thus is just the right mascara for the season. You can also wear it to a wedding you know you would shed a tear or two lol. The brush is big and fluffy, and it makes my lashes look long and full without clumping. It stays on all day even through sweat or a few tears and doesn’t smudge. It’s waterproof, but still not too hard to remove at night, which is a big plus for me. I just use micellar water or makeup remover.

I am fascinated with the result it gave to my eyelashes, it gave a lot of volume to my eyelashes making them look bigger and I also really liked that the Mascara brush helped my eyelashes fit well when applying it. It should also be noted that the Mascara is against water and I can say that it is because it has been difficult for me to remove the mascara from my eyelashes. The texture of Mascara is great because it leaves my eyelashes separate without leaving lumps of Mascara in the middle of each eyelash hair. I think I will definitely buy the Maybelline Mascara again.
