A: Hi Siena, Maybelline's Eye Studio Master Precise Eyeliner is waterproof to resist smudging. Make sure you are priming your lids before application to reduce the chance of transfer throughout the day.

Q: Why was the design and formula changed on this eyeliner? Please go back to the original packaging/formula it was the best eyeliner ever. The new one flakes off and dries out in like 24 hours.

This used to be my favorite, go to eyeliner, but the formula has changed. It doesn't last, it flakes off weirdly, and worst of all I'm allergic to new formula. Very disappointed in Maybelline for ruining something I've used for years.

tThe Cosmic Purple version of this Master Precise liquid eyeliner was AMAZING. I often got unsolicited compliments on it from strangers and friends and my young nieces. That's pretty unusual for someone my age. I really miss it and wish they would bring back that color. The applicator was also great and it stayed on all day. PLEASE bring it back.

Wanted to love this! It doesn't always glide on very nice, has to push the application on my hand to get it going, and ended up smudged all over my upper eyelid despite care and using a setting spray. Didn't even make it 2 hours before I had to wash it all off. Ended up tossing it.

Terrible new formula. It is dry and hard to apply now. I found my old one with the old packaging design on it and it works way better despite the fact I’ve probably had it for over 6 months to a year and use it almost daily. Don’t buy if you see the new packaging design.

These pens suck I have to push down on my counter in order to get it to work if I just try putting it straight on it acts like it’s dry (been doing that sense I bought it). Love Maybelline products but will NEVER get this liner again!!!

It’s true it dries too fast and then ends up looking caked on. The tip dries out way too fast to finish the line. I had go keep closing and shaking it to get more with little to no success.

Dried out super fast. I wasn’t able to do my makeup consistently I had to keep removing to try making the wing again it was very frustrating. I just ended up throwing it away :(
