It feels like these basic Maybelline mascaras have gotten worse over the years. They used to work great for the low price point but it feels like they’re lower quality now. This doesn’t stick on my lashes when I apply it unless I go over it for a long time and then it makes them clumpy.

Use to use this in middle school - hs and tried it again but, the quality is not there anymore. I use to love this mascara but it's not the same. It didn't do much for my lashes and didn't notice a difference after applying it. Returned the other 2 had bought as well.

Maybelline makes great mascaras, but why are the options so limited for those of us who do not look good in black (and there kind of a ridiculous number of black shades!)? We have blond/gray/red/light brown hair. Please give us brown shade options, curved brushes, options for washable/waterproof. I specifically want Great Lash washable mascara in brownish with a CURVED BRUSH or Sky High mascara in washable brownish, but Maybelline does not produce either of these.

This mascara is always in my makeup bag. It is not the only one that I use, but I do like to use it for my daily sort-of-no-makeup look. I like to just swipe my lashes once to darken them up, and it works great for that purpose. It doesn't irritate my eyelids, which some mascaras have, and I'd recommend it to anyone going for a simple mascara look.

I have tried a lot of mascaras and this one has got to be the worst. It rubs off on your upper eyelid and under eyelid. It gets come together and does not curl your eyelashes up at all. Buy anything except for this one.

Pretty good for a drugstore mascara -- my lashes aren't super voluminous, but it does the job. Seems to smear easily so by the end of the workday I look like I've been out partying 'til 3 am. If you buy this make sure to buy some eye makeup remover too for a midday mascara-smear edit.
