Constant Issues

Have had the device for about year and it is just a nightmare to deal with now. The controls are constantly getting disconnected and the device will randomly show a blank grey screen and not allow you to even restart it/shut it off. Add to that there is a dead pixel that is very much a distraction when you are able to play. Also bought the charging dock for it which stopped working as well. Wish I had never purchased it as now it’s just a $500 brick at this point.

The Meta Quest 3 gets me nausea and dizzy and with the short return window I could not return it in time plus after the return window closed the price changed from $499 which I paid to new price of $299

Dyes a lot

GIFT CARD SCAM!

Salespeople intentionally omitted the fact that there’s a monthly fee to play. $25 a month and the games look pretty low tech. Also sold us a non returnable gift card for meta quest 3 games.At least I was able to return the game system but now I’m $50 short with a useless gift card I will have to spend my time finding some way to sell it or something. Standard retail con to sell gift cards I guess. BUYER BEWARE!

Amazing Head Set, everyone should own one

The resolution is so much better than Quest 2, the thing is if you play a lot of AAA games just save up a bit more and get the 512 GB option. The mix reality is unreal. I believe every household should have a VR headset per household just like how PC started. I have been actively showing it off to every friend and literally everyone is waiting to buy one (waiting for holiday discount) **I rate comfort 5 stars because I upgraded to BoboVR S3 pro head strap + AMVR facial interface + prescription lenses You could be in virtual reality for hours and forgot about the thing on your head with the head strap+ facial interface. Also those three accessories are a must have if you ever order a Quest 3. I am looking forward in owning a Quest 4 at the beginning of 2026. Also my must own games are: Dungeons of Eternity Beat Saber Superhot VR Team local coop: Keep talking and nobody explodes Acron attack of the squirrel Do U Copy Looking forward: Spatial Ops Underdogs Humanity Other people recommend: Espire 2 Contractors Showdown Bonelab Into the radius Escape room/ puzzle: Infinite inside Red Matter 2 The Room VR Moss 1/2 I expect you to die 1/2/3 Board game: Demeo Utility: Virtual Desktop #Photo is the Ice Golem I found 2 days ago in Dungeons of Eternity. Lens problem

Upgraded to a Quest 3 in Oct 2023 have a problem with blurry lenses can't figure out how to get them fixed with warranty very disappointed had to upgrade because quest 2 handles fell apart very disappointed for the money they are poorly made

Good idea

Well I got this on sale and was all excited. Set it up and watched a 3d video or two. The pass-through cameras aren't good enough to read text on my monitor, but the virtual displays it creates look great. Problem is the first time I tried to play games it just wouldn't work. It had me create a boundary and I can walk around the open space in my living room just fine and see the boundary as I get close. When I start a game, all the UI elements just disappear.

Guardian boundaries must always be set up when powering on the headset, and the User Interface is hidden during gameplay. While the Quest 3's passthrough is present for safety reasons, monitor viewing is not an intended use. Please reach out to our Support website if you run into any issues!

The Quest 3 improves on the Quest 2 in everyway.

The Quest 3 improves on the Quest 2 in everyway. It has a higher resolution display (you can clearly see it's much sharper than Quest 2), less bulky design (the pancake lens save bunch of space and weight), and a faster professor (interface seems snappier). The passthrough is much better, which its color pass-through. Entertainment is limited

Bought this device for my wife and she absolutely loves it but she can only play games or watch movies for a little over an hour before the battery dies on the headset. Not pleased with that at all. Spent too much money just for an hour of play time. Seriously thinking about returning

Excellent first intro to VR

Quest 3 is excellent first intro to VR and you can very well judge the full potential with Quest. It is well built, setup is breeze, though the games are limited it does gives you good VR experience. Me and kids both are loving it, though looking forward to more titles and adaptation
