Q: Foes this ke squirrels away?

A: I bought this to keep squirrels off an outdoors bird feeder. I doused the top of the feeder and its support pole with spray. It did not work at all in that case. However, the feeder smells nice.

This product will have some impact on squirrels, but we find that in an outdoor setting, they are often able to overcome their dislike of the peppermint smell when there is food involved. It could be worth a try, but I would not use the spray as the primary method of protection.

Do not buy. I sprayed in the areas where they were and it was a strong odor of peppermint. It caused the mice to create a hole at the bottom of my dishwasher. If you are able, get pest control.

I ise this every winter. Spray it every 5 days. Not only does the house amell good but i haven't scene a mouse since i started using it. I do not have a rident problem but have scene a mouse or two and heard them in the wall before using this product.

I would give this zero stars if I could spray it all on my patio furniture and the squirrels continue to eat up my covers, trying to get to my cushions and everything is ruined again

Other than a few squirrels this didn’t deter a thing. We had plenty of chipmunks, squirrels, a skunk, and a groundhog. It Wasn’t until I used this product that I’ve now attracted a large mouse to my yard. I’ve reapplied every other day. They go right to that spot. Use Lysol it’s better !!!

I had been dousing the engine compartment of my Toyota 4Runner with Mighty Mint spray regularly since rodents last did $9K+ in damage to wiring previously. I can now say that it does NOTHING to repel the wiring chewing critters. I know because I did a fresh application after discovering new damage yesterday morning and in an effort to keep more damage from occurring. Less than 24 hours later, I found a very fresh/large nest in the same spot where there had just been chewed wires again.

Too soon to see if it works. At first the smell was ok and smelled like peppermint. But it quickly turned into something unpleasant. Luckily I sprayed it on cotton balls in a cup so I could throw it out. I will continue to test it outside around the trash can.
