Did nothing to enhance my curls and the scent is too strong and stinky, and lingers for too long

I have 2c/3a curls and this is a permanent staple to my routine. idk why this has so many bad reviews but it works on my hair 🤷‍♀️ the hold isn't too strong which i like and it keeps my curls fluffy but still defined. I apply this after washing and before diffusing my hair. the smell isn't bad in my opinion, it smells like fresh laundry and ive gotten many compliments about it. I started using this 3 years ago and I wanted to change to something cheaper but I have yet to find anything that works just as well so I'm sticking to this product! If you have similar curl type and want a fluffy look (this isn't going to give a strong hold so don't buy this expecting your curls to not move) then this is worth trying out. if you dont like a laundry/powdery smell, you also won't like this.

This product does absolutely nothing to enhance or form curls. It’s like putting lotion on your hair and expecting curls to appear. The scent is amazing, but that’s really all it offers. It works more like a hair perfume than a curl product. If you already have perfectly defined curls and just want them to smell great, this might work for you. However, be warned: it also leaves hair looking dull.

When I don't want stiff or crunchy curls this is my go-to. I love it and my adult daughter loves it. It makes our curls defined yet soft. Touchable.

I was so excited to try this, it has great reviews! I tried the small sample size and I’m happy I did because I HATED this product! The smell was horrible, reminded me of an old church lady perfume. The hold was not there and I could feel the product on my hair after it dried kind of like a film. Didn’t do anything for my curls, was actually one of my worst wash days. I couldn’t wait to wash it out!

First of all, this product smells sooooooo good. I have very porous 2c-3a hair. I rake this product through then brush style and use a little bit of Not Your Mother's medium hold gel on top. I've noticed my curls don't last as long when I use this cream alone, which is why I add the gel. It is the absolute best combination!! Not greasy or heavy at all, just super soft and lasts 3-4 days.

The smell of this product is too strong. My hair smells like it has dryer sheet concentrate in it. I want to get back in the shower and wash it out of my hair.

This left my hair feeling yucky and once dried, not smooth or healthy feel. Felt like I came out of the pool without a wash. Will not use again!!.

Clogged pores/ large red bumps on face & neck

Does what it says! I LOVE this brand. Fits the description. I have naturally curly hair. When I use this cream my curls feel more bouncy and fluffy.

Oh yeah, makes my hair extremely soft. Love the look of my waves after applying.

I love this hair cream, my hair is 2b hair type. Tighter curl framing my face, more loose toward the back where longer. I love how it doesn't seem greedy, weigh my hair down but keeps my hair in order. I love the smell. Personally I love more heavily scented products so if your sensitive to smell it is stronger in that category. It does indeed remind me of fresh laundry. It's sold with the ethnic hair products but it works wonders on my red head hair!

This product is Kay. I got it based off a recommendation but I don’t think it works as I thought it would: it also does not smell very nice.

I love the way this makes my curls look. They’re defined and they hold, but no matter what I use there’s always a little crunch. This is my favorite Miss Jessie’s product.

Got for my daughter and made her hair look really nice until 3 weeks in I realized her hair was falling out a lot. Unfortunately had to get rid of it

I try to use less expensive products but I keep going back to this. I have medium fine but dense 2b hair and this gives me definition without weighing it down.

I absolutely love Pillow Soft Curls - I mix it with a little bit of Miss Jessie’s Sweetback conditioner or use the Sweetback as a base and my 4c curls drink it up! Super defined curls and the next day I just spritz some water on, add a tiny bit more Pillow Soft and keep it moving. On the 2nd night, I moisturize my hair with Baby Buttercream and I’m set. Love the scent, love the feel and how my hair looks afterwards. Fave!
