  • A: @Mernween The MOBI Smart App allows you to connect multiple smart devices, including the MobiCam HDX Camera. One of the features of the MOBI Smart App is that you can share your smart devices, such as MobiCams, MOBI Security sensors, MOBI Doorbells, Mobi Smart Electric Plugs, etc. with multiple users! You can either build a virtual home in the MOBI Smart App and share ALL of your devices with your family members, or you can share an individual device with another user! All the other user needs to do is create an account with the MOBI Smart App. Once their account is made, you go to your device's settings and tap "Share Device." Once you're there, you type in the user's email, and BOOM! You're now sharing your device with them. You can also choose to remove them from your device at any time.

  • A: Hello, once you have successfully connected your camera through a 2.4GHz wifi network, onto your MOBI account, you can view live camera feed from anywhere as long as you are utilizing internet/wifi from the viewing device. You must be connected to 2.4 (2G) WiFi from your phone while setting up the camera. Once connected, if your internet provider provides 5G you are welcome to utilize that after.

  • A: Hello JB, Thank you for reaching out to us. When you have a dual-band router we recommend splitting the router where there are individual unique sign-in/password for each network. Once this has been done you should have no issue solidifying a connection for the MobiCam to your Wi-Fi. Without the split, the router has the potential of one network emitting a charge over another causing interference. Therefore, if connected the MobiCam may go offline, or in setting up it won't connect.

If you are having night vision trouble, I have attached some ways to troubleshoot. I found this monitor when my other, more expensive baby monitor stopped working and I wanted an affordable option. I originally didn’t want a monitor that used wifi after reading negative things online but decided to try it and so glad I did! I have used multiple baby cams and never had any issues except this one. It’s AWFUL literally try ANY other one. My son is 1 now and I’m trying to connect over and over to this monitor every single time and it never works. Always errors me out and the sound is also horrible. Just completely do not recommend.

Cheap price for a pretty decent camera. Night time mode works great and the live feed is clear enough to do what I need it to do. I only gave it 4 stars because I have 2 small issues with it. First, there’s tiny red lights in the lens that I can’t seem to turn off. Fortunately, my baby wasn’t looking at it tonight (our first night using it) but it may end up being distracting eventually. And second, I wish I could exit the app and still have the live feed play picture-in-picture in the corner of my screen while I use my phone for other things.

Does not work with 5g network. Now it's obsolete. When it did work it would not play sound in the background. Which meant my phone could only be used as a baby monitor. I couldn't be online without switching back and forth to check on the baby

Once a connection has been established using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, it is required to be logged into your MOBI account on your mobile device in order to access the visual content or audio of the MobiCam. Once you're logged out of the MOBI account you will no longer be able to see/hear the content of the MobiCam.

I really disliked this monitor. It would loose connection for quickly. When it did have a connection it was mostly snow that you saw and could only make out where your child possibly was. The sound quality was terrible. Tho when it did work I was able to to still connect to it miles away and see my child sleep

The clarity of the image is incredible. And you can remotely move the camera and basically 360° nearly! Up down left right you can even zoom in. You can use the touchscreen on your phone or you can use the buttons provided within the app. You’re able to listen in, and also speak. You can set up a motion detection and the sensitivity of it, that will send you alerts anytime a major movement has happened. It’s so quiet, very sleek. Perfect for babies or toddlers, if you have anybody with special needs, or being able to communicate with and check in on pets. There is no service subscription, once you have the product and download the app, that’s all you need. But if you want to pay for cloud storage to be able to access videos, you have that ability. I am completely impressed, I did not expect such amazing quality.

I like the mic feature and the ability to take screenshots and video. Motion detection works well. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to turn off the device remotely. Also, a feature request would be an alarm or push notification when the camera goes offline. I pulled the plug to see what would happen and nothing happened. For this reason, I removed a star, but truly, I would have liked to have given this camera 4.5 as the other parts are so good.

I never write reviews but holy crap this is a BAD baby monitor. It’s so bright, makes a clicking sounds ever second and that’s WHEN it can establish a connection. It’ll randomly time out or freeze for 30 mins and you’ll have no idea. The photo attached is just a blank screen that will not refresh!

We have attached some information we recommend trying to resolve the issues that are occurring with the MobiCam. When a MobiCam makes a click sound it is because it is switching from day mode to night mode. On rare occasions, the MobiCam can become confused about the light level in a room and might constantly click. The light sensor inside the MobiCam needs to be reset. Please follow these steps to reset your night vision sensor (or IR sensor): In a brightly lit room or daylight, gently cover the night vision sensor (found above the camera lens) until you hear it 'click' to night mode. Uncover and let it 'click' back to daylight mode. Repeat this process 5 times. The sensor should now be reset. If you are still experiencing clicking issues, please let us know! The blue light on the MobiCam can be turned off! We understand your concern with the light bothering your child when they are asleep. Please follow the steps below to turn off the blue LED light. Open MOBI Smart app Tap on the HDX camera On the top right corner of the screen, you are going to see a small icon of a pencil drawing a line. Please tap on it to be redirected to the MobiCams settings. On the settings page, please tap on Basic Function Settings Turn off the Status Indicator
