This is a junk! Terrible! It freezes and not capture the moment when you needed to. It’s slow to reconnect and doesn’t work simultaneously. Very poor quality!!

Always makes clicking noises and doesn’t adjust to day /night time lighting it often clicks when or when not in nighttime mode ! Horrible!

Target should probably remove this from their site. Like other many other reviewers, one camera disconnects constantly and will not reconnect in its own. We try the push pin reset option and even that doesn’t always work. There is no way in the app to prompt it to restart or reconnect. Frustrating to say the least. Two stars because at least one of the cameras is functional, and the video quality is decent when it does work.

Hello Ashley, thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you are experiencing difficulty with the MobiCam. MobiCam is only compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network. When you are operating the device with a dual-band router that has both 2.4G and 5G we recommend having the router split where each network is uniquely named and has its own password. This will prevent the incompatible network from emitting charges over the compatible network which in result will knock the device offline.

We recommend running a speed test on the WiFi and confirming that it is operating at the recommended upload and download speeds for the MobiCam to perform as designed. For the best quality, we strongly recommend having a 40mbps download speed to ensure flawless use, as our cameras offer HD live streaming. Our cameras will function on as little as 20mbps download speed with some delays in audio and video. You can run a wifi speed test by opening up the browser on your mobile device while connected to wifi and in the search bar, typing in "WiFi Speed Test." This will take you to the Google speed test, and you should see a blue button that reads "Run Speed Test." Tap this button and allow the test to run. It should take no more than 1 minute. It will provide you with an Upload and Download speed.

The audio quality is horrible. I have it on full volume and barely hear a noise my baby makes. Also don't love that you have to have your phone screen on to hear anything. And there are no motion warnings or anything. Wish I would have returned!!

For volume control, you not only want to make sure that the device sound is all the way up, you also want to ensure the volume on your mobile phone is also all the way up. As for the phone having to be connected and logged in to the App, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but that is the only way to visualize or receive audio from the MobiCam. Lastly, there are settings that you can place to receive motion detection. Continuous Recording: Open the MOBI Smart app. Tap the MobiCam icon to view the live feed. Tap on the settings icon, pencil drawing a line, located on the top right corner of the screen. Select Storage Settings. Turn on Local Recordings. Set Recording Mode to Non-Stop. Event Recording: Open the MOBI Smart app. Tap the MobiCam icon to view the live feed. Tap on the settings icon, pencil drawing a line, located on the top right corner of the screen. Select Storage Settings. Turn on Local Recordings. Set Recording Mode to Event Recording. Go back to the Settings page and select Detection Alarm Settings. Turn on the Motion Detection Alarm. Select the Alarm Sensitivity Level. Sensitivity will pick up any slight movement when set on High. Schedule Recording: Open the MOBI Smart app. Tap the MobiCam icon to view the live feed. Tap on the settings icon, pencil drawing a line, located on the top right corner of the screen. Select Storage Settings. Turn on Local Recordings. Set Recording Mode. Select Schedule and tap Add. Set the desired time that you would like to set the recording to start, and make sure Local Recording is "On." Press Save. Select "Add Schedule" again, scheduling the desired time that you want the recording to stop. For this section, make sure the Local Recording is "Off." Press Save.

These baby monitors are not worth it. They lose signal, freeze, and lag constantly. The volume is also not adequate. The picture is pretty good, but that’s about it. Don’t waste your money.

When losing signal or experiencing delays in the visual/audio. we recommend, performing a speed test of your wi-fi to ensure that the speeds are up to the necessary levels to stabilize a connection for the MobiCam to perform as intended. How to run a "Speed Test": You can run a wifi speed test by opening up the browser on your mobile device while connected to wifi and typing in the search bar "WiFi Speed Test." Unreliable

At first I wanted a camera I could watch on my phone. This does that. However, it’s supposed to notify you if there’s movement… well it notifies you when there isn’t any movement and does not notify you when there is. Not only that, but when you’re watching live the camera constantly freezes. I have to constantly close the app and reopen it. The light on the camera is too bright and constantly catches the attention of my baby and when you move the camera on the app you can hear it in the room which has waken my baby up. I’ve been using this monitor for less than 6 months and the speaker is already messed up and makes my baby sound like an alien. I’m extremely unhappy now that I have to buy another baby monitor after spending money on this unreliable one.

Often when it comes to stuttering / slow / or choppy video, its a matter of connection speeds to the camera on the network. For motion detection, I have included the proper steps for you to setup as desired. 1.) Log On to MOBI Smart 2.) Tap on the desired camera for which you would like to set the schedule. 3.) On the top right-hand corner of the screen, you will see a pen icon. Please tap on it. 4.) Scroll down to "Detection Alarm Settings" and press on it. 5.) Press on schedule, then "Add Schedule." 6.) Set the desired time that you would like to set the alarm on, and make sure Motion Detection is "On." Also, make sure "Repeat" is set on the days you want for this schedule. If you want it daily, please select all days. 7.) Once that is set, press save. 8.) Press on "Add Schedule" again, this time scheduling the desired time that you want the Motion Detection to be off. For this section, make sure the Motion Detection is off.

Wouldnt Buy Again

It’s okay! Not the best as a baby monitor because it doesn’t wake me up at night if my toddlers make a noise. It’s just comes in as a notification on my phone if it detects movement, not sound. And one of the cameras has a hard time staying connected. I probably wouldn’t buy it again but it’s not bad enough for me to pack up and return because my kids are 4 and 2 and don’t usually cry in the night.

Save your money, seriously

I purchased this in spite of the fact that many of the 5 star reviews were [collected as part of a promotion] which made me wonder if it really was any good or not. Pro: The set up was very easy, the video quality is rather good for both color and night vision. The pan/tilt is quite sufficient for use as a baby monitor. Con: The reason I am returning these is due to the horrendous sound quality. When I initially got these up and running, even with my phone volume maxxed out I could barely hear anything coming through the camera. I went into the camera settings and figured out how to turn up the volume on the camera itself and started by going up to medium (you have low, medium, high for choices) and immediately static/popping was introduced into the sound stream, even with my phone set to lower volume and I still could barely hear my baby when she cried. I bumped it up to High on the camera and the amount of static/popping was so bad that it made it utterly pointless to even bother using the camera. Both cameras in this set had the same exact issue. After having done alot of research on various baby cameras I ended up spending approximately $40 for the Wyze Pan Cam 2 and so far I love it. The video is awesome, including having low-light color. The sound though, is so much better. I can actually hear my baby when she makes sounds. I suppose it's possible that I managed to get 2 cameras with bad speakers, but I'm not taking a chance on buying 2 more of these. Give serious consideration to not buying these!

Never got it to work

Same issue as a few other posters. My husband and I tried and tried to get these cameras to connect to our wifi, but they never could. The app just prompted us to "reset" our Mobi's using a push pin...very frustrating, to say the least.

Unfortunately, we did not have luck with this monitor. Setup was fairly easy, but we could never establish a good signal and I know Our wifi was fast enough. picture quality was very low, and it was SUPER laggy, sometimes lagging and freezing up to a minute at a time. Also, the camera would sometimes move by itself. I'm super bummed as the reviews seemed very promising and it was such a good price.

I would give 0/5 stars if I could. If this product worked it would have been nice, has a good picture. Problem is it never connects to Wi-Fi, we’re using the 2.4 like it says and did a speed test so it’s not our Wi-Fi it’s these cameras. Who wants a camera that comes on maybe once a day, then just says offline and you see nothing. Totally a waste of money.
