Here's How To Fix This Defective Toy!
Just like many others, out of the box I thought I had a dud. With an extremely disappointed child in tears, I was determined to fix it. And I did! Here’s how you can too. 1. Open the bottom of the base to expose the motor. 2. Remove the plastic pieces that have the rubber ends which just look like floor protectors. These are actually the pieces keeping the toy from working properly. 3. There are 2 momentary switches that are spring loaded on either side where the plastic pieces above would push into. Using needle nose pliers, pull the momentary switches out. 4. Use electrical tape to wrap around the switches to hold down the spring loaded buttons. 5. Put the switches back in the slots. 6. Put the bottom back on and replace the screws. 7. Have fun, even on carpet!

Disappointment
The concept is cool but this is such a disappointment. First one wouldn’t work. Sent us another one, it worked at first, but batteries die so quickly and the excitement fizzled out after about 2-3 minutes. My son wanted this so badly and it has not sat collecting dust for months, he does not care about it all. The monster trucks are so tiny, the lights don’t even light up on it after two uses…not worth the price at all.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
The amount of people that didn’t read the instructions and assume it doesn’t work is crazy. It has to be in a flat surface to work. My only gripe is how loud this thing is. It sounds like a blender.

Didn’t work out of the box!
I bought this for my 5 yr old son for Christmas and he was so excited about it because he has a ton of minis but no playset, but to our dismay once we put the batteries in (which was a challenge because they kept popping out before you could get the cover on) we placed it on a hard surface as instructed and loaded it up but it didn’t work. The light would flicker and I could hear a noise like a motor but no action. So be sure to keep your receipt handy if you purchase this ad it may be faulty!

Not broken after all
I purchased and returned/swapped for a new one because it would not work regardless of batteries. After having an engineer look at it, and determine it was faulty design he discovered it DOES work but needs to be on a HARD flat surface. Not carpet. There are two little black feet pads on the bottom that need to be pushed in for it to work, carpet does not do the job.
