Taking that into consideration, I did not have high expectations for the product. To my surprise, this baby monitor is fantastic. I especially love the night vision and the room temperature monitoring! You really can't beat this monitor especially for the price.

Best part I can also remote watch my baby while traveling via my mobile app . It doesn't show accurate temperature but that's not my primary usage so I am ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Motorola baby cam was a breeze to set up right out of the box. The cam was already synced to the monitor, just needed to plug it in for the baby cam to kick in and for the monitor to juice up. The monitor gives a super clear view and can move a bit left to right and up and down. Plus, getting the app on my phone was easy peasy - just scanned the QR code in the manual. The monitor's got a sleek look and stands up fine. It's got some cool extras too - like playing lullabies and showing room temp. They even threw in a wall mount that's a cinch to set up and feels solid. The cord could've been a tad longer for more options in cam placement, but it gets the job done. Night vision is top-notch, and the LED sound indicator is a neat feature - it lights up depending on noise levels even if you've got the volume off. Both cam and monitor sound clear as a bell. The monitor gives a beep if the cam gets unplugged to let you know it's lost connection. Had a brief hiccup with the connection, not sure why. Wish it had 360-degree pan-tilt though, 'cause the view's a bit limited. But all in all, it's a solid baby monitor. Highly recommend it.

Having volume controls are perfect and being able to 2 way communicate is awesome ! I use this daily through out the house when I'm doing my chores and it's a life saver !

I love how accurate the temperature is on it as well. It is extremely easy to set up as well as use. I definitely recommend to new parents!

This baby monitor and video looks really nice even the 5.0" size screen is a plus, however the video quality was not clear enough when my children would move in front of it. It appeared to be lagging. I have had other monitors more clear but they connected by wifi, no microphone and no temperature monitor. I love the fact that it worked straight out the box, after considering how wifi monitors could be hacked so easily. We often travel, so this type of monitor is good to travel with. This monitor even shows the temperature in the room which is very helpful since our temperatures change drastically over night pretty often. Lets not forget the microphone, being able to speak through it is very helpful considering kids can get into trouble very quickly and they are able to hear me clearly as well. Overall this is a really good monitor. Thanks again Motorola!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this monitor. I love how sleek and modern it looks and the video and sound quality are great. It also seems to mute out the background noise from the sound machine in my daughters nursery which is a HUGE plus. I won't share pictures of the quality for safety reasons, but it's great. Also, I LOVE that it doesn't have wifi. I got creeped out hearing all of the strange things people can do to those monitors with wifi and the ones that connect via an app. My only con would be that the monitor is a bit large and bulky which makes it a pain to carry around. Nevertheless, I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby still sleeps in his crib so this was a perfect camera! I love the monitor and how you don't need wifi. It let's you talk through it and has night vision. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's a bit too zoomed in. It has 1x(normal zoom) and 2x but 1x looks more like 2x or 3x zoom lol I'd have to place it unusually high in the wall for it to be able to capture the whole crib.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed using this baby monitor! It was easy to set up and had no problems at all getting a great clear picture. Me had to rethink where we put the camera though as the cord wasn't long enough. The ability to move the camera is fantastic, we can see everything and more in babies room! The sound comes through clearly and the lights are a nice added bonus we haven't needed to use the two way talk yet but it's another great added feature.

Compared to another monitor that I had, the camera quality on the Motorola was a lot better. Would I choose this baby monitor over others... I'm conflicted because the features were great, I just wish the camera was able to move in different directions because our nursery is a little big and I would've enjoyed being able to see around the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it has a separate device to watch baby on the monitor. I use it in my littlests bedroom, but I do however wish the quality of the camera was a little more clear. It's kinda fuzzy and a little zoomed in. Other than that, I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how big the monitor is, especially when checking in the middle of the night. Also great to have the option to use with app on your phone. Picture & sound quality is a great. When fully charged it remained on over 24hrs. The noise feature is a nice option. Only thing I didn't care for was the light that stays on on the monitor. Also am used to having a 360 camera option on my other system. Very nice system & would recommend.
