Motorola Audio Baby Monitor with 2-Way Communication - PIP11

After 1 use, the monitor buttons stopped working and I had to reset the device any time I wanted to turn the volume up.

Motorola: do better. You need to QC your product before it leaves the factory. The volume up button didn't work. We kept this device out of the landfill by doing some Macgyvery repairs (husband is very handy!) so hopefully this doesn't happen to everybody but buyer beware! After disassembling the device, a shim was inserted between the two halves since the volume up button didn't align.

Worked for less than a month. Will no longer hold a charge or connect. Even plugged in, it says low battery and won’t charge.

Been using a week a works well in my large house. Love the temp reading too.

The connection is constantly dropping and we have a very small house. I’ll be on the couch when the beeping will randomly start. This happens at least every three days. Parent device is bulky and doesn’t have a pocket clip. The device is hard to read. Overall really disappointed in the product. Go with vtech instead.

This thing is horrible. Always losing connection even when in the next room. Sound gets louder and quiet again for no reason. What a waste of money. Get a VTech.

Constantly disconnects and makes a loud beeping sound, waking me up in the middle of the night for no reason. The talk back button worked for about a month and has not worked since. Going back to our old handy VTech one. I really liked the temperature feature on this one, but not worth it with the issues it has.

Runs off of wifi but constantly disconnects resulting in a loud beeping until you power it down and back on again.

I didn't want something that was difficult to set up, and I wanted something that was easy to travel with. The Motorola PIP11 Audio Baby Monitor was just what I was looking for. This functional product allows for audio to be heard from a far distance. I recently traveled with this, and I was able to hear all the sounds from one hotel room over. The sound quality also did not diminish with extended distance. One of the added features that I liked was the fact that it shows the temperature in the room of the baby, that way I would easily know if it was too hot or too cold. Additionally, there is a music feature, we didn't use this, but it's an option. Overall, great for a travel and easy-to-use monitor that offers excellent sound quality and long-range distance. I would recommend this product to others

The thing beeps constantly for no apparent reason. During the day, and the middle of the night when we are trying to sleep. It says it’s “not linked” then sometimes it’ll fix itself after one beep and other times needing to be shut off and turned back on and even then doesn’t always clear the issue. Luckily we are not new parents, this would not work well for already sleep deprived parents. We ended up with 3 separate units that all do the same thing! One was a unit that was sent a second time by target because we paid for upgraded shipping and it never came until a week after we should’ve gotten it and one was a replacement, and the third one was the one that finally came late. Ordering a different two way audio monitor to replace this piece of junk.

We prefer the fact it has no camera because it feels safe knowing no one else could tap in and see our child. We only need to hear them and being able to clearly hear them all through the night is great! Any time they wake up crying I hear it instant because the sound quality is amazing. Setting it up was pretty simple just put it close to your child's bed and plug it in. I put the receiver near my bed so I can have it close by me at night but I can also use it when I'm in any room of the house even outside! It definitely gives me peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use. It charges fairly quickly and holds a great charge. I can still hear clearly even at the back of my yard. It is on the more quiet side. That's really the only downfall for me. The cord that needs to be plugged in is plenty long to set it down. The two way works perfectly. And the lullabies are pleasant as well.

Works great and super easy to set up . Definitely will recommend for the new mama's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we loved this baby monitor until it stopped working. I got this for free to test and review. Set it up immediately and it worked perfectly! I could hear my munchkin and he could hear me. It was the perfect set up, until it fell over. I bumped the dresser it was set on, it fell on the floor then stopped working. Tried everything to fix it but it's like the wires got a short cause it sounds garbled now. Bummed it stopped working but loved it when it did work.
