Q: On average, how long does the battery charge last?
submitted by GinaFranksFl - 1 year ago
A:Â It can last around 10 hours. PIP10 has an automatic battery power saving mode. When the baby side is quiet, the parent unit will enter battery power saving mode. So, in case the baby is not crying so often, you can always have more than 10 hours.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality of this baby monitor is amazing! The rang is also really great. I can take it in my big back yard with me and hear if my baby is awake. The simplicity of it is also really nice. No extra bells and whistles that I won't use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new monitor to replace my older one, I used for my two previous kids!! The sound is clear and loud. The setup was easy to do. Keeps me at ease being able to hear my baby's every move and breath. Great Monitor!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this monitor thru a free program. But that being said I had a video monitor that i used for baby 1 and 2. We just had baby 3 and that monitor does not work. Though they are practically different I still like this monitor. It does what it says, has a long listening range and clarity. I would probably buy this again if I cpuld raise the volume on the parent side more. I have problems with my hearing and sometimes couldn't hear my kiddo crying. I would recommend this product because it does what it says it does. I also like that parent side can run on batteries or be plugged in. I used it next to my bed.

I would definitely recommend this baby monitor to my friends and family because it's just better than anything else on the market currently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Motorola PIP10 Audio Baby Monitor has helped us to monitor our daughter who sleeps in her own room adjacent to ours. It's been helpful with sleep training.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We camp a lot during the summer/fall months and with 2 little ones, leaving them in the camper while we enjoy the fire is stressful. We used these Audio monitors last weekend and they were perfect. They had good range when we wanted to go to a friends camper in the next spot over. It did make some random squeaking noises every so often but not horrible. Perfect for these camping weekends.

Long range even with weak wifi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits our needs! We actually use it as a doggy audio monitor during separation anxiety training. It's sensitive enough to pick up whines and barks, even across the house. I didn't like the idea of a camera since i didn't want to have to turn it off everything i came home. So this was perfect for me. We have relatively weak wifi and so far it's still been connected fine. I'd recommend this for dog training and i think it would work great for baby monitoring also, even though we haven't tried it yet for that purpose.

Convenient but doesn't work the greatest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other monitor we have is not portable and requires internet so I was really looking forward to the portability and convenience of this monitor. The monitor is nice and small which was great for traveling, and I appreciated having the option to use batteries or the wall plug in for the parent monitor. I found myself having to refer back to the manual multiple times because the buttons/lights on the parent monitor were not very clear; however, my biggest issue with this monitor was that the sound would cut out for long periods of time. The monitor did not alert me that it was out of range (I was only a couple of rooms over) but there would be nothing playing as if they disconnected. When it was working, it was quiet and difficult to hear if the room was slightly louder so I would have to hold it up to my ear. I will probably continue to use this when traveling occasionally, but overall I would not recommend this to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how simple and easy this is to set up and move when needed. I bring my baby to work with me and having a monitor that I can easily transport and set up at home or at my office is a must! It is very sensitive with sound and I have not exceeded the range doing chores around my house. Clear audio quality I literally just had to plug them in where I want them and they're up and running which I love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked well the first nigh and was able to hear my son crying in the next room just fine, but the sound quality could be better in my opinion when I compared it to another one I was looking at. I even tested the range and it did work as intended. Its also lightweight and portable enough to move into different rooms if needed and I even take it along with me to my babysitters house and she likes using it whenever my son takes his naps. So far it works just fine for what checking on my son even when I am not there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love sleek modern tech, and this is the perfect option for an audio monitor. It's portable, has a long range and is really beautiful in any aesthetic. The quality is really good too, which is really important considering the market these days is full of products that seem good but aren't and just don't last. I can tell this will last a long time and the fact that it has a warranty is even more peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to others it's okay but not 100%, it loses signal a bit when you get further away though you haven't hit the maximum range it's supposed to use so it just automatically turns off which isn't good at all. You can not speak back to the baby which is another problem it would be good if you could, but it is a simple audio baby monitor and it does the job at times just wish it did it all the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very high expectations for this baby monitor. I used this product to do house work while my newborn is napping. I do like the small size of this baby monitors. It's advertised to give you 1000ft range but didn't work even 15ft away. There was a bunch of static that is uncontrollable. The sound isn't great either, very low volume for a baby monitor. I wouldn't recommend this product I would chose a better quality product instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Motorola PIP10 Audio Baby Monitor only works within very close range. The battery doesn't last long. The instruction book is not helpful at all figuring out issues with the monitor. The range is definitely not as described. Product looks very nice but does not do its job as expected
