Q: Does the monitor and base run off battery? Or does the base have to be plugged into an outlet?
A: The base is plugged into an outlet. The monitor can be plugged in or you can use batteries.
submitted byNaomi - 8 years agoA: This unit allows for both options. We have used it 90% if the time plugged it. The parent unit can be unplugged and with batteries, can be used around the house. Be advised the batteries do drain very fast when it's unplugged!!! They will die every time the unit is freestanding.
submitted byAMCas - 8 years agoA: Everything has to be plugged in.
