Basically what everyone else said. Worked fine for the first 16 months of use overnight and during naps. Noticed the range got smaller and smaller until it had to be right outside baby’s door to get a signal. Today, I turned it on for baby’s naptime and it was just a white screen of nothingness. It ALSO said it was 32°F in her room, which I uhhhh highly doubt since we’re currently in the middle of an August heatwave. No amount of resetting and pairing will get it to work and the reception bars are just quickly going back and forth between red NOTHING to full bars so like… I don’t even know lol A weird stroke of luck had me looking at new monitors yesterday before it broke because I already didn’t love it and wanted a new one, and it’ll be here tomorrow, so at least that’s a silver lining? All in all, it’s fine. It’ll last either 3 months or 16 months, and there seems to be no in between. May the odds be ever in your favor lol

The monitor stopped working and wouldn’t connect to the camera after 3 months of use, we tried trouble shooting to fix it but nothing worked and had to buy a new one.

We were gifted this monitor for our first baby and it broke(monitor wouldn't work) just a few months after using. We were very thankful that when we went in store they were able to swap it out. A year later and it has broke again and is no longer sold in stores and they are unable to replace it. DO NOT GET!! Works great when it works but doesn't last.

Had an older version for 5 yrs, had to get a new one due to my 2yo trying to put it back on the charger and the port broke. Pros: great image, new charging port!, ability to talk and play music, ability to move camera from parent unit, good signal distance Cons: camera angle doesn’t go down far enough! Ended up having to mount it on the wall instead of where the old one sat. The blue light on the camera isn’t an issue as it just replaces a nightlight. LO is getting used to it(went from blackout to nightlight, so definitely a transition) Overall good monitor, just hate that I had to mount it

Easy to install. But wow that BRIGHT BLUE LIGHT surrounding the entire camera is obnoxious! Even electrical tape won’t cover it all. Baby is currently still staring at it but should be sleeping. I will never understand why all electronics for baby’s room have bright lights!

Reliever of the mind to be able to have "eyes and ears" on when you are not physically present. Nap time goes best in her crib, but that is out of earshot from the rest of the house. This Motorola camera system works really well and I can even give her warm greetings and songs while I'm heading back to her room when she wakes up

Bought the because my old monitor died. I ended up returning it because of a few reasons- -The camera angle isn’t very adjustable. I had to hang this above my baby’s crib in order to have a good view of her, but that left the cord in an unsafe spot. Even hung above the crib I couldn’t angle is far enough to the front to see if she was standing by the front railing. -The functions/settings on the monitor are a bit clunky and difficult to get used to. -Theres a blue light on the camera and it’s very distracting. I don’t remember if it stays on once you turn the monitor on, but my baby would stare at the camera at night so I do think there is some small light that’s always on. I did however like the screen size, clarity of the image on the monitor (it’s not the best but better than what I had before), and the price was right.

This was a great buy since we got two cameras. That being said, the monitor itself stopped working about a year in. We couldn’t use it outside of our home; like on vacations etc. We have now had this about 2 years, and it has stopped working in many of our rooms. We have a ranch style home, with only 1400 sqft. The monitor only works in the living room which is approximately 20 ft from the bedroom the camera is in..I would not make this purchase again.

Love the quality of the monitor but the light on the camera is SUPER bright. I mean lights up the whole nursery and the baby keeps waking up. We had to tape over the light which isn’t very esthetically pleasing so just something to consider before buying!

I NEVER take the turn to write reviews, but I needed to for this set. This lasted 16 months before the monitor quit working. They won’t replace because it’s not under warranty anymore. I just feel like this should last longer than 16 months for the price we paid.

I really love this monitor and it’s the second one I have purchased. But I gave it a 3 because the blue light on the camera itself is so darn bright that it literally wakes up the baby and illuminates a dark room. When the whole point is to use black out shades and minimize light, this blue light is BRIGHT. I had to use black electrical tape to cover it up and even then the blue light glows from within the unit all around. Other than that, the range is phenomenal. All other monitors I’ve used don’t have the range this one has. Nice big monitor with accurate temperature display, etc. a fantastic camera and monitor it’s just that darn blue light. Really wish they would redesign this.
