Patrick Mackie nació en Londres en 1974 y creció en Oman e Inglaterra. Es poeta y ensayista. Ha sido profesor invitado en Harvard y su obra ha aparecido en PN Review, The Poetry Review, The Paris Review y New Statesman. Ha publicado dos libros de poesía y un estudio sobre T.S. Eliot.
