[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This video keypad is AWESOME! It was seriously easy to set up- took me 10 minutes to get it connected to my home wifi and it even did an update. Easy to connect to your garage opener and even if you don’t have one, I believe you could use this as a motion sensor camera which would send alerts to tour phone. The night vision is pretty good quality and the daytime is better. I would say it’s on par with our current wireless security cameras. I like that it comes with a rechargeable battery and doesn’t require some pricey storage subscription. Would recommend

Very clear view, works well with garage door so far. The voice volume is terrible though. You can only hear out of the speaker if you’re 2-3 feet away.

RF antenna is too weak, and requires modification to garage opener. WiFi antenna is weak as well. Need to pay for a subscription service to access/save videos which is unfortunate. Unable to open or close garage door via the app, which is unfortunate. App is not intuitive as to how to get live view.

The myQ Video storage plans allow you to personalize alerts, record and view motion events and access them at your convenience thru the myQ application. We offer a variety of plans that allow you to store video events for 7 days or 30 days to view and download and share if needed. Product works but the hard wiring is definitely a requirement as the battery life is extremely poor. Part of the reason for this is the camera settings do not allow a schedule to be set so the camera goes off every time something comes within the field of view. Zones can be set to limit the field of viewing but having a schedule would be helpful. If you are working in your yard/driveway, the camera will just constantly be triggered.

It brings me peace of mind that I have an extra security measure to my home. I feel safe knowing I can review my footage to make sure my family is home safe when I am not there. I did not purchase it, but it is weel worth the purchase. The installation was a little bit tricky for me because I rushed through the instructions, but once I took my time to read through it was easy to install

You have to hard wire the camera or buy extra batteries as the battery only lasts a week. Other than a live feed which is slow, you will need to pay a monthly subscription to access simple features like motion detection. Great idea poorly executed! I got rid of this and just added a motion detecting floodlight with a camera above my garage.
