This is common for many battery-powered and solar-powered security cameras, as the 2.4 GHz frequency is better for extending range and penetrating obstacles. Q: If the electricity/wifi goes out, will the camera still work since its also solar powered and it has an SD card? Please advise.

Never worked properly
Camera keeps disconnecting from the network. I am unable to receive any notifications on my phone since setup. I sent a message to support and have not heard back. I like some of the camera's features, but if it won't work properly those are useless to me. I ordered this and didn't realize that I would have to physically take it to a store for a return and could not be mailed back. The closest Target is about 30 miles from me. I wish they would have told me this upfront.

This one surprised me!
I wasn't expecting much since this camera "claims" to have a bunch of features that are often only seen in higher price cameras. Well... I was proven wrong. This camera blows away competitor at this price point. I LOVE using the package detection feature. Package theft is a common occurrence in my area so getting alerts when a package has arrived is great as I can run out and quickly grab it. Image quality is great. I am using this camera plugged in so I can't make any statements on battery life but I assume it is as stated. I have noticed that the motion sensitively is a bit high but I read somewhere I can change it in the settings so that may help. Overall, great camera for a great price!

Great quality and very smooth
I have been looking for a security camera for a while now. I gave this one a shot and I love it. It is rechargeable so I did not have to pay anything to install wires for it. The video quality is amazing and extremely smooth. The motion detection picks up everything important. The app is very easy to use.

Not dependable
The cameras worked pretty good the first 6 months to a year. They go off line and aren’t very dependable. It’s very difficult to reconnect to the internet.
