Purpose
Acne Treatment..Directions
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. Application Tips: Before use, turn bottom of pen until concealer dispenses (first use may require several turns). Use sponge tip to gently apply concealer. Cover blemish and blend outwards for seamless coverage. Avoid eye area.Inactive ingredients

I’ve been using the Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer and I’m so glad I found it! For me, most concealers either cover breakouts or treat them, but rarely do both—this one actually does. It gives natural, lightweight coverage that blends in easily and doesn’t look cakey, while the salicylic acid works in the background to calm and clear blemishes. I’ve noticed that when I use it on new breakouts, they look less red right away and actually heal faster over a couple of days. It’s also great for touch-ups throughout the day since it never feels heavy or makes my skin worse. The coverage is just enough to smooth everything out without looking like a full face of makeup, which I love for everyday wear. Definitely a staple in my bag now!

I rated a 3 because the product wasn’t really “blemish fighting.” I tried only using it on zits, so I could skip a spot treating, but I ended up having to use my normal spot treatment anyway. It blends well and it was a perfect match for my skin tone. My skin tone is typically hard to match, so that’s a big deal. Anyway, I think it’s worth trying, but don’t go into it thinking it will be a cure all for breakouts.

This concealer is pretty good for covering up those annoying pimples that pop up outta nowhere. It's got salicylic acid in it, so it feels like it's actually doing something to help clear them while hiding them. Just be careful not to use too much, or it can get kinda dry. And the packaging is kinda not it.
