The Nivea Soft Moisturizing Cream is a versatile and effective product that has garnered mixed reviews due to its recent formula change. Many guests appreciate its lightweight, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly, making it suitable for daily use on the face, hands, and body. The cream leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated, with a pleasant, subtle fragrance. However, some guests miss the original formula, citing differences in texture and effectiveness. Love it in a jar!
I bought this cream because it comes in a jar. Pump bottles never get all the lotion out and that isn't a problem with a jar. I use it only on my hands and it is not greasy, absorbs quickly, moisturizes well, and the fragrance is clean and mild. All the qualities I wanted.

Affordable but works!
Can go wrong with this moisturizer, it works well for all over the body. I use on my face during the warmer months and i use it on my hands all of the time because it’s not greasy and absorbs quickly while keeping my skin soft and happy. Not for people who are sensitive to fragrance or are anti-fragrance, but if you don’t fall into either category, it’s perfectly fine.

New formula
I came on here awhile ago to see about the Nivea Soft and read many reviews about the fornula changing. I have been using Nivea Soft for 10 years or more. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and bought a new one. Nivea so messed this one up. It is so diffeent. I dislike it alot. Nothing about it is even somewhat the same. I will definitely be returning this. I'll be on the hunt for another loyal product to use.

Bring back old formula
I used to love the old formula and used it for 20 years. The new formula is sticky and awful. Will have to find a new product if the old one doesn’t come back soon.

New formula burns
Old formula worked great this new vegan formula burns my face. They also changed the blue tin night time one. I'm not longer using Nivea.

New formula is rubbish
I have used nivea soft as my hand and face moisturisers since I was 14 years old. Its the very best and as someone who needs to have moisturised hands i litrallly had a tube in my car in my bag and at my desk in work at all time. This was the hand cream I recomened to everyone and the only one I would ever use. Since the new formula has come out I now dont buy it. I have still to find a handcream like the old formula. This new vegan formula is so rubbish and it doesn't moisturisers. It sits on the skin and does nothing. Bring back the old formula please!

New formula is not as good
Thought I'd let someone know, I dont like this new formula as much as the old one. Im now getting an ouly T-zone, I have to use twice as much, it doesn't sink in as easily/ isnt as absorbent. I'm getting pimples, especially at the edge of my nose and cheeks (which I've never had ) and I feel like I need to re-apply at the end of the day. Bring back less sustainable formula please. I now feel I have to go find something new

New Nivea Soft creme
Oh dear God Nivea, what have you done to my wonderful reliable moisturiser for the past 58 years. This replacement is cheap, tacky and totally different from the original one. I am beyond disappointed and hope you will at least consider returning the original one to sell alongside your other products. There are a lot of unhappy customers out there judging by the reviews.

Hate the new formula (used old for years)
The new formula is terrible. I used the old formula for years and years and it was my go to face lotion. I have some very high-end products, but the Nivea soft was always what I used for my face lotion. I loved it and initially didn’t notice the change when I bought the new formula tub. The second I tried it, however, I could tell, and it just felt weird on my face, not nearly as thick and it didn’t moisturize as well. That’s when I read the ingredients and compared my old tub to my new tub and saw what had happened. New formula! I threw the whole tub away and am looking for a new product to replace it with. Such a shame.

Always in my arsenal
Literally a favorite forever. I haven’t noticed any difference in the formula change. The scent is literally the same…I don’t know why everyone is hating. Love love love this product. I recommend to everyone that wants a better face cream 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

drama drama drama
I have both the older formula and the new formula of this product, and I can genuinely say that people are overreacting in the reviews. It’s the same energy as people who swear up and down that European Nivea is worlds better than other versions. Spoiler alert: It’s not! The only thing I notice with the new Nivea Soft is that the texture is a little more gel-like. It smells virtually the same with the only difference being a SLIGHT botanical freshness, likely from the inclusion of lavendula extract. It still moisturizes well, and actually sinks into the skin quicker with less resistance during application. I’ve had no burning or itching or life threatening emergencies like people are claiming. I swear some people genuinely have nothing better to do than sit around and complain. They have no control in their actual lives so they freak out over silly stuff like product reformulations. If you’d actually do some research before falling into mass hysteria, you’d see that the biggest changes with this product are the removal of silicones, waxes. mineral oils, and lanolin alcohol which actually has more risk for irritation than any of the ingredient swaps due to the fact that it’s derived from sheep. Please take some deep breaths. Maybe journal or something. You’re gonna be ok.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The new formula is bad for my skin, it tightens and burns. Bring back the old one.

new formula is garbage
I have used this off and on for the last 15 years. I always come back to it when my skin is irritated and needs a break from the trends I have been trying on my face. This time, there was no break for me, just a cream that made my already sensitive skin worse. Why would you change the formula? Bring the old one back. And looking though your reviews it seams I'm not the only one complaining. The only reason the stars are even at the mid point is because this product is coasting off old reviews and people who put in 5 when they meant 1 ( read the reviews its a thing). and the sad thing is I can't find something that calms my skin as well as this product used to.

Perfect in every way!
This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It has a lovely texture when being applied, is not greasy, soaks in quickly and, best of all leaves my skin baby soft. I which it was available in a larger size.
