Q: In the description it is stated that this item is dishwasher safe yet on the packaging it states Not for dishwasher use. I am confused.

A: Hand washing recommended. It is dishwasher safe - no safety issues. The harsh soaps and heat of the dishwasher will shorten the life span of the product - It may be more prone to staining etc... It won't melt or immediately become damaged - but it will not last as long as a hand washed product. Chipped and dirty
When getting the new product the bottom had a spot chipped out and the bottom also had oil or mud on the bottom..

Good value for the money
Makes fixing bacon in the microwave very easy. I can make 5 slices of bacon at a time and the racks are spaced far enough apart to make it an easy clean up.
