Smells but simply AMAZING RUG!
The carpet has a smell but literally every carpet I have bought has a smell. The instructions say to air it out. HOWEVER, the carpet is so plush and soft it doesn’t even matter that it has a smell! It feels amazing beneath my feet! I would definitely recommend this rug and it looks so much better than the pictures give it credit. My daughter loves laying on this rug! 5 stars all the way!

Can't vacuum it
The rug is beautiful, but unfortunately, it does not vacuum. I’m a housekeeper and have different vacuums. I’ve tried them all. The low pile areas get matted down instantly and look worn out fast along with nothing will vacuum off of them as you will see in the photo. The photo is all the stuff that still left on the rug even after I’ve tried vacuuming it with a very well-made canister, vacuum! It’s like Velcro. Nothing will vacuum off this rug. The higher shag areas still look good, but not the circles that are low pile at all. In one of the photos, I lifted the chair that covers that circle partially and that spot is still in good condition whereas the area that was exposed got matted down within a week.
