It’s noted as having “no full backing,” which just means it doesn’t have a complete extra layer, but the latex still helps give it some grip and structure underneath. Beautiful rug, but doesn't want to lay flat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful fluffy rug for my daughter's room. We love it, but it has been a few weeks and sections still refuse to lay flat and keep bubbling even with a rug pad and laying a 30-pound box on those sections for a few days. Pull off the box and they pop back up. Hopefully over time they will cooperate.

Overpowering Chemical Odor & Rough Texture
The odor is far beyond a “slight smell” — it’s overwhelmingly strong and fills the entire room. Even after hours of airing, it remains harsh and unpleasant. Very disappointing and not suitable for indoor use.

Fabulous!
We wanted some elegant and understated. This is perfect! Looks great on our natural oak floors. Bought the matching runner for the hallway. It’s soft and comfortable to walk on. No shedding. No odor!! With my allergies, this is very important. Just unroll and vacuum to fluff up the nap. Highly recommend! (Be sure to get the recommended felt pad, too!).

Soft / nice looking but came with terrible smell
The look is fine and the comfort is good too but it’s currently week 3 of the off gassing synthetic carpets do and needless to say I wish I just purchased a wool rug. It smells like a petroleum refinery in my living room. Avoid unless you have great ventilation and a place for the rug to air out prior to install.
