Description
OAXIS Infrared Digital Forehead Thermometer is a hybrid contactless thermometer that can measure body temperature as well as the surface temperature of objects. With contactless infrared measuring, users can keep a distance away from the measurement subject. Take measurements within a second by pointing the probe lens 5cm to 15cm away from the centre of the forehead. The high-precision sensors provide extreme accuracy of ±0.2ºC. After measurement, users can save up to 25 results to help you track changes across readings. Users can set the alarm temperature and turn on or turn off the beeping sound in the setting mode and there is a silent mode for night readings. The automatic power-off function extends battery life. The thermometer is suitable for all ages and is lightweight and portable enough to take anywhere.

Accurate temperature and handy
I have never had a point-and-shoot thermometer but this one is amazing! It can tell your body and surface temperatures from a distance. Easy to read and operate, and give instant results. The battery compartment cover is hard to open, just need greater force.

Target please remove this product
This is a faulty product! It gives a low temp reading no matter what. I bought a new thermometer because I knew my son. Had a fever and he was 103.3! Not even reading normal at 98.6 with this product. During this time when we are dealing with a pandemic I feel both the manufacturer as well as target is responsible for selling a faulty product that directly puts lives at risk by allowing people to continue on with their day thinking they have no fever and possibly spreading COVID.

Do Not Purchase!
This thermometer gives incorrect readings- always low. The battery compartment latch broke the 2nd time it was used.

Do not buy!

Take your time & put the Batteries in correctly
Needs two AA batteries to operate and the orientation on how to put those in is hard to see. Also, after getting a reading, it takes a minute for this device to take temp again.

Not accurate
I bought this as a way to take my son’s temp easier. I usually take his temp with a thermometer in his armpit and then add a degree. When I bought this I knew my son was running a fever. I checked with this thermometer and it continually gave normal temps. My son was hot to the touch, sweating and pale. Clearly running a fever and fighting something off.. don’t trust this thermometer.

Simple and easy to use
Got this from my colleague. Quite handy and the overall build is quite sturdy. I like the trigger button, it's not flimsy like the previous one from our office. Only one drawback while the battery is not included.
