A: There is no clear answer as the exact run time is highly depending on the individual brushing behavior. Factors like brushing frequency, duration, over-pressure applied during brushing and to which extend the different features (e.g. the interactive display) are used can of course influence the battery run time.

A: Yes. You may first choose your default mode by pressing the mode button successively once the handle is awake (display is turned on). Select a mode by pressing the on/off button. Your toothbrush will start in the selected default mode. You may also change modes during brushing.

Horrible vibration, travel case does not secure the toothbrush or the attachment head and they rattle around. My previous Oral-B electric toothbrush had mold issues at the base and on the charger and this one looks like it will have the same issues

Terrible battery
It’s okay. I “upgraded” to this toothbrush from the genius and there’s some serious downgrades. First - the battery. Where I could use my genius for over a week without charging, this toothbrush barely lasts 3 days before dying - and when it dies, it just abruptly shuts off with no warning. It’s so frustrating being midway through brushing my teeth and having to wait a few minutes while it charges. It does clean my teeth well and the sonic vibrations are not too “buzzy”. I have not used any of the smart features.

Please Do NOT Buy
Do not buy this it is a complete waste of money. At least 10 times this toothbrush has shut off saying it was out of battery, when it showed battery life above 70% when I turned it on. Please do not waste your money on this.

So, if you are looking for a good electric toothbrush you should consider the Oral-B iO5 brush. This brush offers optimal pressure control and 5 smart modes depending on your needs and what your looking for! The noise level is very subtle and the battery life will give you about 2 weeks of use!

Love the rechargeable oral b toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oral b toothbrush came in nicely packaged. I really like that it is rechargeable so don't have to worry about replacing batteries. My mouth felt clean and refreshed with the electric toothbrush. The noise didn't bother me much. I would recommend this product as it does have a few modes to it where you know if you are brushing too hard or not enough. I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a good toothbrush. It deep cleans a lot better than a regular toothbrush. There are different modes to it. It tells you when you’re pressing too hard of your teeth during cleaning and it’ll be green when it’s on the right pressure. The brush is pretty easy to replace. Battery life lasts a long time too.

Good toothbrush
My Phillips Sonicare bit the dust after about 10 years. I decided to try the Oral iO, even though my dental checkups were great. I think this toothbrush will be fine. It’s just different. It feels rougher on my gums, but I just think it takes getting used to.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we have many quality checks to ensure all products are of the highest quality. Please know that there’s nothing in our toothbrush components that would cause mold. Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. Buildup can occur from regular use, even after rinsing, as water and toothpaste can harden over time on the brush head and handle. Depending on your toothpaste and water hardness, it can sometimes leave a residue that varies in color. Though you may already do so, we recommend keeping the toothbrush (without the brush head) switched on while rinsing, as it helps push water through the little openings to achieve the best clean and help minimize residue. With consistent cleaning of your brush, it'll continue to help minimize residue buildup. We want to gather more info so we can help further, and invite you to call us at (800) 566-7252.
