A: Based off the product "highlights" i wouldn't use it on a mattress due to it requiring that you wash it with detergent after you spray the stain. It doesn't disinfect the mattress too. I believe their are other products you can use to treat stains & disinfect a mattress but i don't think this is one.

A: I would say yes for stains difficult to remove, specifically spit ups. However, I would recommend thoroughly rinsing (run rinse cycle twice if your washer doesn’t have an extra rinse cycle feature). And use this original oxyclean spray stain remover, NOT the new extra power in the smaller bottle.

A: Hi, StainFighter, It would be best to spray the blood stains directly with the pretreater before washing for best possible removal. If stains do not come out the first time, repeat the process. Thank You

A: Once you are on your cart page you can see each item of your cart listed in individual rectangular boxes. On the far right of each box there will be a small "x". Click on the "x" and the item is removed! Hope this helps!

Okay so it works GREAT but the scent is out of control. It's the most intense "laundry" scent and if you're a person like me who uses free and clear detergent, this is going to be too much for you. I can still smell it on the clothes after laundering them. I decided to buy another brand and keep this as backup. If this doesn't bother you and you're a high fragrance home, go for it.

Recently, my child had an accident at school, resulting in a bloody lip that stained the front of their white outfit—yikes! The outfit didn’t make it home until the next day, and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to remove the set-in blood stain. Fortunately, I pre-treated it with OxiClean spray and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it. I was quite pleased (and surprised) to find that OxiClean had almost completely removed the stain! Just plain AWFUL!!! i used it as directed for a stain on my sofa cover and it has bleached it leaving a ugly white spot on my beige sofa cover. I am so upset. The replacement cost of this Ikea cover is $209+taxes. I tried to see what can be done over chat just now but no resolution was offered. I am supposed to chase it down again tomorrow. Not sure if i will be helped. Save yourself the grief of ruining something you love by using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great on stains that haven’t set yet. It took out things I thought would stain but didn’t when I used this. When I tried it with stains on clothes that were already washed and dried, it didn’t work as well. It did lighten them slightly. I don’t notice a smell so it’s not strong. Comes in a standard spray bottle. I would purchase this again. It has been very useful.
