A: We don’t recommend using our 10% wash on sensitive skin because of the Benzoyl peroxide that we use in our acne washes. Using a wash that has Benzoyl peroxide may cause skin irritation. We recommend you contact your healthcare provider or dermatologist for any questions regarding the appropriate treatment.

A: PanOxyl Acne Wash can be used daily. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. This acne wash can be used with a moisturizer.

Q: If you use this in the shower and rinse well, does it still stain fabrics? I used to use a topical Benzoyl Peroxide as a teen, and ruined a lot of shirts. However, I wasn't rinsing after applying.

It can be drying so if you have normal skin I wouldn’t use daily. Maybe try once a week. If you have dry skin stay away completely. If you’re like me and have super oily skin then this product is for you! I still wouldn’t recommend using daily. I use it 2-3 times a week on the face. If I have a bad break out I’ll increase use but only in the affected areas and this clears everything right up!!! It’s multi purpose too and can be used on the body. If you have back acne this would work wonderfully. For the body, I personally use it once a week on my armpits to help fight odor.

The only face wash that keeps my acne under control. I only use it every other night, then use a gentle wash (vanicream) the other nights and in the morning. If you use it too much, it can be irritating since it’s 10% benzoyl peroxide.

I tried it for my back because i was breaking out there and it didn’t seem to anything so i tried it on my face and i woke up with hives and my face was burning really bad. it went away about 2 days later i don’t recommend this at least if you have sensitive skin.

I haven't used this as a face wash, but I do use it to wash my armpits. My armpits can have a strange STRONG odor. It's not even a regular musty smell. I've tried clinical deodorants, using a glycolic acid toner, etc. Nothing worked! My pits would smell literally one minute after applying deodorant. I was so upset because I am a clean person. I just don't know why my armpits can smell so bad! Then my friend recommended this wash. Oh my God this has been a lifesaver. I wash my armpits with my regular body wash, then use the panoxyl and let it sit for a few mins. It kills that bacteria that was making my pits STANK. It works so well that one time, I forgot to apply my deodorant after my shower, and I still woke up with no smell at all!! Even if you do not need a new face wash, try panoxyl under your arms! I love it!

I'm'll start by saying I don't use this for acne. I use it on my armpits to kill any odor causing bacteria, which is super helpful if you like to use natural deodorants which don't always mask odor like you wish they would. I leave it on for about a minute in the shower and then rinse. Works great.

This really helps to clear acne but can be very irritating. I would ease into using this and listen to your dermatologist and how your skin reacts. It is helpful for body acne and for face acne, but again can be sensitizing. You also have to be careful what other skincare you mix with it (ex tretinoin).
