They changed the formula... HORRIBLE now
They changed the formula from the ProClean to this and this one is absolute garbage. My bedding was the first load washed in this new version and it smells like armpit and a whisper of the former scent now… I swore by the former, as my husband and I are both pretty sweaty people, and our laundry used to smell amazing and fresh without irritating my sensitive skin after using the ProClean. I usually break out in a rash with other brands, so it also was helpful for me in that aspect. Don’t be fooled like I was! RUN. This is not the Persil everyone used to rave about. This doesn’t clean or smell even remotely close to how the ProClean did. Bring it back!!!

Scent makes it unusable
I’m not sure if anything has changed in a couple years since I’ve used this. It’s always cleaned very well and still does. But the scent is just so awful. In itself, it doesn’t smell bad, but it is so strong. It makes me sick. It’s so bad. It makes it completely unusable because I can’t wear the clothes anymore and I have to waste a few empty loads just to clean my washing machine from the smell.

I would not use this ever again. Left my clothes with an odd oder and I had to rewash everything in a diffent brand.

Read before you buy!!
This is the only brand I use no matter the price!! I have tried gain and tide and other brands, none of which clean the clothes as good as this while leaving a nice subtle smell that isn’t tainted with fake fragrance-like smells. It also has yet to stain my clothes while washing it, which is a common thing that happened with tide. You can see that even on Reddit where people complain of the same thing. I honestly love Persil and wouldn’t use another brand ever again
