    Offensive New Scent

    New Fregrance Is Awful!!!

    What in gods name did Persil do to the original formula? I have used Persil for 7 years with excellent results. The new scent is awful and brutally strong. It smelled up my entire house and I had to rinse the load two more times just to reduce the smell from the clothes. I threw the bottle in the garbage and will now have to look elsewhere for my detergent needs. Shame!

    New Scent Is Disgusting!

    I’ve been using Persil origin for 7 years now. Loved the original formula. I recently purchased what I thought was my same trusted brand, but the scent is nasty and overwhelming! It stunk up my entire house and I had to rewash my load multiple times using nothing but water just to get the smell out of my clothes. Absolute garbage!!

    Smell too strong

    I am a long time Persil user - the Triple Care smell is way too strong and intense. Please return to the original scent. Otherwise I'm looking for something new.

    New formula!

    New formula! I’ve been a loyal Persil original scent customer for 15 years. I’m not one for scented soaps, but it never left a scent after clothes dried, and it is (was) a superior product. I didn’t use it on my air dry items. When I opened the new bottle, the detergent was watery, which isn’t normal. The smell was awful- I seriously thought I got a bad bottle. I google it, and sure enough it’s a new scent and a new formula. Why change? It smells cheap, the scent lingers on my dried clothes all day where I smell my detergent over everything. What were you thinking, Persil?

    Product changes were not favorable

    They recently changed the formula. The detergent seems watered down and no longer has the original sent. This was at one time the best detergent on the market. Now it is no different from the others.

    Triple care is triple fragrant

    And not in a good way. I’m sensitive to strong smells. I’ve been using Persil for years because its fragrance was mild. The new formula is quite strong. Maybe 5x as strong, and not in a good way. I had to wash clothes again with 1/3 the amount. Still wasn’t enough. On to the next.

    New scent is awful

    I’ve been an avid Persil user for the last 8 years and I bought it per usual without knowing there was a change in scent or ingredients. I used it and the smell was SO perfume-y and strong. I’m pretty sensitive to smells and it gave me a headache wearing the clothes I had washed them in all day. Here’s to hoping they go back to their original formula!

    Nauseating New Fragrance
