An ok flosser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the pleasure of trying the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I couldn’t have been happier to get to test a product by Philips Sonicare. I’ve trusted them for my dental health for the last 20+ years since my parents got me an electric toothbrush as a teen. The Compact Flosser 1000 did a fine job overall. My teeth and gums consistently felt clean after use. My gums felt healthy after repeated use as well. I was very happy with the battery life of the Flosser, as after two weeks of once daily use, I have not needed to charge it yet. The pulsing feature of the flosser seemed really effective in my daily flossing routine. I really liked the 15 second timer on the appliance. There’s a pause in the flosser that tells me when it’s time to move from the outside of my teeth to the inside, which assures that I floss my entire mouth within the span of one minute. The reservoir was also easy to fill, and it’s very easy to replace the flosser heads when necessary. There were a couple drawbacks of this flosser however. While it is good for travel having the whole flosser contained as one compact unit, the water would flow out of my mouth and down the machine, which gets pretty messy sometimes. Additionally, the bendable “straw” that connects the flosser itself to the bottom of the water reservoir and thus the water supply often gets caught up in the top of the reservoir, meaning I have to disassemble the flosser from the reservoir to fix it. This is especially annoying when I notice this only after I’ve started flossing. Overall, it’s a decent flosser that’s good for travel. But for consistent use at home, I think I would prefer a stationary unit that’s a little more user friendly.

Love the machine hate the flow of water
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Thank you, Stellar! I'm a twice daily teeth brusher and daily flosser. I typically use string floss but I have used other water like flossers in the past. I also have an automatic tooth brush that lets me know when I've been brushing the recommended 2 minutes. Pros: Physically I love the design, I got the lavender color which is one of my favorites. The machine itself is as big as cell phone and much wider to hold more water. It's very easy to handle in. The buttons are soft and easy to use. I love that the plastic flosser can detach with an eject button and go inside the machine to keep it sanitary and help with the compactness of the design. It basically was the size of having a lotion or sunscreen in my toilet tree cabinet. This product also came with two replacement heads. I really love the head with the white, plastic pointy part on the end. I felt like I had better control over the water stream in certain areas in between my teeth and my gums. It also surprisingly reached my back teeth which are hard to get through other flossing methods. Usage: It's very user friendly. I gently pulled down a clear case at the bottom which became a water container and I'm able to fill up the water in the hole behind the flosser head. There's a drain inside the cup that siphons the water to the flosser efficiently. Overall the machine is very intuitive and easy to use. I liked that there were three different options: sensitive, pulse, and stream. The sensitive option was my favorite and allowed me the best control when cleaning out the plaque in between my teeth. Cons: Water flow: unfortunately, I had a lot of issues with the water flow. I prefer to have a steady stream of water that I can used to navigate in between my teeth. When trying out this device multiple times, I had an issue with all three different modes creating a water pulse of varying strength. Even the sensitive option was still pulsing and made it hard to navigate the flosser to go in individual spots in my gums & teeth. Due to the varying pulsation of the water, it would reflect off of my teeth and completely spray my entire bathroom mirror / backsplash area. I couldn't even keep my eyes open and keep the machine going to test the timer option because of the spray being so overwhelming. I hoped that this compact version would be nice and quick/easy to use but due to the water flow situation I'm unable to floss my teeth properly without being in the shower with clothes I don't mind getting wet, goggles, and a mirror. I don't know if my particular flossing machine caused the issues or if this is standard for this device. Overall: 2 stars Unfortunately, I can't use this device on a regular basis, which I'm really sad about. If there's a way the water flow problem could be fixed to more of a steady stream, especially in the sensitive option- I'd use this on a daily basis. I will go back to my string floss for now. I'm grateful for the opportunity to try this item and if I could receive knowledge on how to have a steady flow, I would definitely make this apart of my daily routine.

Effective and easy to use compact flosser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've been using this compact flosser every night after brushing my teeth for about a week now, and I love it! Previously, I typically flossed at least 4-5 times a week, but since I started using this water flosser, I have made it a nightly routine after brushing my teeth. It comes with both a standard nozzle and comfort nozzle, but I've primarily been using the standard nozzle as I don't have very sensitive gums and feel as though it has given a deeper clean. I feel like it leaves between my teeth and gums feeling almost as clean as after a dental cleaning, which I didn't always get with normal flossing. With it being a compact, wireless water flosser, I wasn't sure how the water pressure would be, but it exceeded my expectations. I also especially like the fact that it takes up barely any space on my bathroom counter and I can easily travel with it, if I'd like. The only thing that took me a couple days to get used to was the awkwardness of how to hold the flosser while using it, especially when cleaning my back teeth. However, once I got used to it, it wasn't much of an issue. I have yet to have to re-charge it with daily use over a week, which has been nice. I'll be curious to see how long the battery will last on one charge! Overall, I would definitely recommend this water flosser!

Great for travel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stella Panels for providing me with this Flosser for review. As a girl who admittedly HATES to floss and currently has braces, I really love this flosser. It is super easy to quickly fill up with water and I love that when it’s empty, it collapses to be compact for travel. I also love that the nozzle can flip upside down and rest inside the flosser itself so it doesn’t get lost. It comes with two nozzles. While I don’t notice much of a difference between the two, I wish they were slightly more angled to get between my braces and wires a little better. Once I get my braces off, I don’t think the angle will be a problem. This flosser has three different pressure modes and I personally prefer the stronger one since I’m often using it to get food out of my braces. I wish the pressure were a little bit stronger, honestly. I really like the built in timers, as it makes sure I don’t rush through my flossing routine. So far I’ve had no issues with the battery life. Overall, this is a great flosser for someone who doesn’t like traditional flossing and wants a compact flosser that’s convenient for travel.

Why I Love This Philips Compact Flosser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried my new compact flosser, I immediately noticed just how strong it was! The intensity was surprising, but I soon got used to it. I found that it was actually the best thing for my teeth and gums! Philips includes a Sensitive mode, which I used to slowly get myself accustomed to their flosser’s strength. Once I worked my way up, my teeth and gums had never felt more clean. It quickly and altogether removed the hard to brush plaque from my teeth! My favorite part about this Philips Flosser is that it works wonderfully for anyone with permanent retainers or braces! The water pressure and overall clean was much more efficient than regular floss. It didn’t cause my gums to bleed and cleared away more plaque. One I got my flosser properly set up, it was fairly convenient to use on a daily basis. I could simply fill the tank to the water line and turn on. If I were to travel, it’s easy enough to take apart the pieces to make it more compact. The convenient features on this flosser are wonderful, especially the long battery life. As a person who doesn’t love having cords all over my counters, I love that I can charge my flosser and put the cord away for a long while. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this oral health care item.

Much better than regular floss
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this out! I’ll be honest, I HATE flossing. Traditional floss has always caused me discomfort because my gums are extremely sensitive and prone to bleeding. This water flosser has completely changed that. The pulse and clean settings were a bit harsh, but I’m sure I’ll get used to them. The sensitive setting with the comfort tip worked best for me personally. It’s gentle enough that it doesn’t cause irritation or bleeding, but it still leaves my mouth feeling very clean. I have to refill the tank a few times during use because of the compact size. But I don’t mind since it doesn’t take up much counter space. The battery life has been impressive too. I’ve been using it daily for about a week and haven’t had to charge it yet. My only complaint is the button placement. I’ve accidentally bumped the buttons during use and changed modes without meaning to. I’ve also turned it on by accident while assembling the tank, which has resulted in a few unexpected water sprays. All in all, it does the job, and I’m really happy that I finally found a solution that works for my sensitive gums.

Awesome portable flosser with potential
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000: A Glowing Review with a Critical Eye For those in need of a water flosser for their travels, the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 is a great solution. The thoughtful folks behind the Stellar Product Testing Panel gave me the opportunity to try this out. With its sleek design and powerful performance, it stands out as a worthy contender in the world of portable water flossers. It genuinely makes flossing feel less like a chore and more like a spa treatment for your mouth. What truly makes this flosser shine is its combination of effectiveness and convenience. Philips claims it removes up to 99.9% of plaque in treated areas, and the fresh, clean feeling after a 60-second session certainly supports that. The built-in 15-second timer is a thoughtful design feature, gently prompting you to move to the next section of your mouth and ensuring you give every tooth the attention it deserves. For a truly personalized experience, it offers three distinct modes: Pulse for gum massage, Clean for daily use *my favorite mode*, and Sensitive for a gentler touch. The fact that this performance is packed into a compact, cordless, and USB-rechargeable body makes it an absolute game-changer for those with limited counter space or frequent travelers. With a battery that can last up to two weeks on a single charge, it's a reliable companion at home or on the road. However, no product is perfect, and the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 has a few areas for improvement that are worth noting. The collapsible 200ml reservoir, while ideal for its compact design, is often its biggest frustration. In practice, a full 60-second cleaning session frequently requires a mid-session refill, which breaks the flow of the routine and can be a hassle, especially when you're rushing. A major issue that I've come across during refills is that the spring-wrapped tube that pulls the water into the flosser often gets stuck to the bottom of the pumping unit. This prevents the tube from pulling water into the pump, and the only remedy is to completely remove and reseat the top half of the flosser from the water reservoir. Another point of critique is the lack of a rotating nozzle. While you can still reach all areas of your mouth, it requires more twisting and maneuvering of your wrist to get the right angle, a minor inconvenience that can become a significant annoyance for users with dexterity issues. Minor inconveniences like the "mushy" feel of the buttons, which may lead to prematurely spraying water when handling the flosser, and the lack of a detailed battery level indicator also detract slightly from the premium experience. Despite these flaws, the Compact Flosser 1000 remains a standout device that delivers an exceptional clean and a modern, hassle-free flossing experience. Despite the imperfections, this Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser will continue to travel with me on any and all future nights away from home.

Compact Powerhouse Flosser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have to say—I’m pleasantly surprised by this compact powerhouse! The directions were clear and easy to follow, and once I got the hang of the setup and features (after a few accidental ceiling and mirror sprays), I was able to achieve a deep, thorough clean between my teeth. While the “Pulse” and “Clean” modes felt a bit too intense for my first few uses, I was grateful for the gentler “Sensitive” setting, which made the transition much more comfortable. I also love that the flosser folds down into a neat, compact shape for storage, with the nozzle tucked out of sight. The expandable water chamber is a clever design I’ve never seen before, and the soft lavender color is simply gorgeous. The angled nozzle makes it effortless to reach tricky spots between teeth and along the gumline, although flossing from the inside of my teeth—as the pamphlet suggests—has taken a bit of practice. Still, the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 is far quicker and less messy than traditional flossing, giving me a full clean in about a minute. Overall, I’m thrilled to add this tool to my daily oral care routine—it’s efficient, stylish, and truly effective.

Favorite flosser ever used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have challenges with my teeth, specifically “soft spots” and sometimes I feel like I just can’t get stuff out with regular floss. I’ve used water flossers in the past and had mild success with them but they are bulky, and kind of a pain to use so I’d give up. I honestly didn’t have my hopes up with the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000. It was worth a try though, and I have to say I am impressed. To start, there isn’t a whole tank, hose, plug in, counter space taking contraption. It’s compact, and easy to set up and use every night. I have sprayed my wall a couple times but it gets easier the more you use the flosser. It really knocks every lose and my teeth and gums feel cleaner without feeling sore (like digging with floss can do). I really love this little compact Flosser, and I recommend it to anyone who may struggle with that clean mouth feel, or someone who has sensitive or recessed gum lines (like me!!) And again, the small footprint is a game changer for me. My counter is small and packed and I love how little room the flosser takes up. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the chance to try the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000, and fall in love with it.

Highly Recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a water flosser before and have generally avoided flossing even with traditional floss because my teeth are so tight together and my gums bleed very easily. Although my husband uses a water flosser I never wanted to try his because it was so bulky, loud and hard to fill. When I was given the opportunity to try out the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 with the Stellar Product Testing Panel I jumped on it for one main reason- it claimed to be compact. After several weeks of use I feel like I can properly review this for the skeptic or the curious. It truly is compact and even when left on my counter to dry it doesn't take up a lot of space. I found that one of the tips can slide into the water filling hole for easy travel so I am even happy to take it in my camper and keep up great oral health while in the woods! I went from flossing once a month just so I wouldn't have to tell my dentist I didn't floss at all to nightly flossing and still haven't had to recharge the battery. I love that I could start with a more gentle settings and alternate flosser head provided. I felt confident to spend enough time in each area of my mouth with the convenient pulse change to indicate time to move on. At first I didn't think it was enough time but now that I am more comfortable with the product it seems to be the right amount of time. I have never had my gums bleed with this product and I feel like I have fresher breath in the mornings after using the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 before bed. I highly recommend the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 and will be getting one for my husband as well.

From once a year flosser to daily flosser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest review. I honestly hate flossing but this product was really easy and kind of fun to use. Overall it’s compact and easy to use. I would say it takes some time to get use to it. It has three different pressure settings and it did take time to work up to the higher settings. I do notice that my teeth feel very clean after using, but I have not followed up with my dentist to know if it really has had a long term impact on my gum health. It is about the size of my electric toothbrush so easy to travel with if needed. It is easy to fill and clean. Also the battery life is great! Ive been using it everyday for 4 weeks now and it’s still going strong. Honestly I prefer this to regular floss. It’s easier and it leaves my mouth feeling so much better.

This Flosser Made Me Ditch Regular Floss for Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first because I’d purchased a water flosser in the past that wasn’t very effective and was a bit painful. But this one worked wonders from day one. It actually arrived the same day I ran out of floss, and I haven’t bought any more since. My gums feel healthier, and my whole mouth just feels fresher after using it. I noticed less tenderness in my gums within the first couple of days, which makes me feel like it’s actually doing a better job than my old floss. The water pressure is strong without being uncomfortable, and it leaves my teeth feeling cleaner than regular string floss ever did. I used to think flossing was just something to check off the list, but now it actually feels like a little refresh for my whole mouth. For daily use, it’s super easy to fit into my routine, and the compact size makes it great for travel. It’s light enough to toss in my bag without taking up much space, and I don’t have to worry about finding a big spot on my counter for it. I also love the extra touches. The battery life is long enough that I can go weeks without charging it. Having multiple nozzles is perfect for sharing or swapping out when one’s drying, and the built-in timer cues make it easy to know I’m cleaning long enough without overdoing it. The sleek white look makes it feel clean and modern, and I really appreciate the sensitive mode for days my gums need a gentler touch. Overall, it’s one of those little upgrades that makes a big difference in my dental routine. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

A Splashy Good Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has quickly become a regular part of my nighttime routine. Using it definitely has a bit of a learning curve. The first few times I tried it, I managed to spray water on my mirror and myself, but once I got the hang of it, it became much easier. One of my favorite features is the timing cues that let me know when to move on to the next section of my mouth. That said, I noticed that by the time I reached the fourth section, the water reservoir was running low, so I couldn’t quite finish without refilling. I love how compact this flosser is - it sits neatly on my bathroom counter without taking up much space. The instructions suggest starting with the "Sensitive" setting, but I found it wasn’t quite strong enough for me. Switching to the “Clean” setting made my gums feel like I had just walked out of a dentist’s office, and I feel like it cleans a much greater area than traditional dental floss, including areas like the gum line on the front of my teeth, not just in between my teeth. After using it at least once a day for over a week, I’m impressed that I haven’t had to charge the battery yet. It’s powerful, space-saving, and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean - just be prepared for a little splashing at first!

Uniquely featured design with shortfalls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited I was selected by the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out the new Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser. Ironically I just had to get a bridge put on by my dentist and they recommended that I get a water flosser for ease of cleaning under my bridge and said it came with a lot of health benefits for your teeth. I also travel multiple times a month for my job so this being compact for travel was a huge bonus! PROS: Compact design - nest into each other for ease of traveling. I also liked that the nozzle could nest inside as well to save space. The color was also aesthetically pleasing as well. CONS: Now unfortunately for where this product fell short for me- The hose inside the water tank, by suction, kept getting pulled to the top of the tank so when I was using the flosser it was just blowing out air unless I kept it at an angle that was not helpful for flossing. The only way to get the water flosser good enough for one use was to unattach the water tank completely from the unit, move the hose straight down. put back together and then floss. However, the next night I would have to do this process all over again as the suction brought the hose up against the top and only allowed air to push through. It was quite annoying have to manually adjust the hose every time I wanted to use the product. I would except each night to just fill the water tank through the opening at the top and start flossing but this design does not allow for that. This product had a ton of potential due to its compact, travel easy design but definitely needs to be worked out more from a design perspective.
