This is our second Sonicare toothbrush that developed vibration problems (slowed agitation, loud buzzing, ineffective cleaning) after a few months. Troubleshooting was ineffective. Since we’re purchasing a fairly costly product, it seems reasonable to expect excellent performance. We are not hard on the product, so there is seemingly no explanation for its lackluster durability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 7300 instruction booklet tells of features that the unit is supposed to have but I can't seem to make them work. For example, it is supposed to tell when applying too much pressure while brushing, but when I test it, there is no change in the "feel" of the brush and no light comes on. Further, it is difficult to get accustomed to the six 20 second signals when the previous model had four 30 second intervals. Worse, the support pages concentrate on purchasing new toothbrushes and no brainer questions, but I can find nothing to help me figure out how to make the features work or identify the signals when/if they do. I sure do wish my previous model had not crapped out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush cleans thoroughly and cleans/massages the gums well. Gum inflammation has been reduced. I use the toothbrush in Gum Health mode twice daily (3 minutes, 20 seconds). The sonicare app notes that I brush more than the recommended 2 minutes per session, which is annoying at times given that I'm brushing in Gum Care (the setting determined by the Gum Care brush head - G3).

This is my 2nd Sonicare Toothbrush. The handle is more ergonomically designed and the different types of brush heads can be detected by the unit when inserted. Connection to the Sonicare app leads to a more complete & thorough cleaning and one van keep track of their brushing progress. A very good toothbrush and I'm glad I bought it.

TLDR: Toothbrush is good but price is too high. However, worth it if you catch a sale. I for sure noticed a difference. Timer is great imo. I have used a manual toothbrush all my life but I felt like it was time to upgrade. While this was not a necessary purchase for me I still believe I made the right move. As for the price, way too high in my opinion, I got this with a sale price and a gift card; ended up paying about $50 which was worth it. It’s been 4 months and I appreciate the way it cleans and the intensity levels. There’s different modes too but they’re slightly different. I DEFINITELY feel a difference but that’s because I have been manual my whole life. I really LOVE the automatic shut off because it helps me not cut it short due to my impatience. Travel case is helpful. I started off low then slowly built up to the highest level. Doesn’t feel soft or too firm either. Anyways I rambled but it’s not bad for the quality but it does not match the price point. Find a sale or coupon or wait for a gift card.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. I enjoy how it works withbthe app to track if I am using too little or too much pressure and givesme pointers. It also lets me know if I am brushing long enough. The head vibrates whennits time to brush the next section of teeth. The app tells me how much life is left in the brush heads.

The toothbrush head that came in the box with the hand-held will not slide all the way down until it clicks, it does not fit flush. The brushhead slides up while brushing and came off on my mouth. This is very dangerous. Its a defective Sonicare. I wouldn't recommend until Philips recalls and corrects the problem with these deflective Sonicare. Already returned the Sonicare before writing the review, therefore I have no photos.
