Q: Are Ponds products and all of the ingredients cruelty free? By this I am also asking if your suppliers participate in animal cruelty as well as Ponds. If not why? If so why are the products not marked as cruelty free?

A: No, Pond’s is not considered a cruelty-free brand. Pond’s is owned by Unilever, which does test on animals where required by law. This means that while Unilever has policies supporting alternatives to animal testing, Pond’s products may be tested on animals in certain countries where animal testing is mandatory for some imported cosmetics.

If you’re struggling finding a good makeup remover that doesn’t feel sticky, and removes makeup well without breaking the bank, this is it. There’s a reason why most older girls use this cream, because it works great and feels great on skin. Love it.

My late mum used this and I got the habit from her, but you have messed with a product that didn’t need fixing and now it’s horrible. The smell isn’t the same, the texture is greasy and it doesn’t work as well. After decades using Ponds, I’m looking elsewhere.

Please don’t stop making this cold cream. Never put Propylene Glycol in it. Highly allergic to it. And make a Dry Skin Moisturizer in unscented or fragrance free!

I have dry skin and break out easily. This stuff is miracle cream. Since I stopped using makeup wipes two years ago I exclusively use this and my skin is so much more hydrated and clean. This partnered with a good face wash leave absolutely no residue of makeup and do a great job of cleaning off other impurities of the day from work and the gym. It worked for my grandma and it works for me.

Since Covid, I’ve been getting really bad dry patches on my face that just wouldn’t budge. I was told it was Ezcema, but sometimes that medication just seemed so hard on my face but I just couldn’t get moisture under my skin.. in comes Ponds! I always use this to take my makeup off and remember how it makes my skin feel. I tried a little on my face with no makeup, massaged it in, let it sink in for a while then wiped it off with my makeup eraser.. NO MORE DRY PATCHES! This stuff is just remarkable!

This is not like other makeup remover creams that I am used to but it seemed like a good product for decent price so I decided to try it. It’s cool and creamy, very thick. You need to use a washcloth to wipe it away completely which I don’t love. It is gentle on my sensitive skin and it does a good job of removing my makeup. It does make my skin feel smooth and refreshed. I will finish using the jar but probably won’t repurchase.

You get such a large size for a great price. It takes my makeup off so quickly and easily and leaves my skin very soft afterwards. I took away one star because this is a scented product. I really wish it was unscented so more people (with sensitivities) could use this. The other reason is that it makes my eyes very cloudy. It doesn’t burn or sting but it leaves a cloudy haze to my vision, so I have to rinse my face (and eyes) really well and sometimes I’ll use eye drops to help clear any remaining out from my eyes. Other than those two cons, it is a great product and I will continue to repurchase it. Just please consider making it without fragrance.

I’ve used Ponds Cold Cream since I was 13. My mom introduced it to me when I started wearing makeup, and I have used it consistently ever since. I love the amount of product you get for the price point, it takes off all my makeup gently, and leaves my skin SUPER dewy. I have naturally dry skin, so this stuff is as good as gold. I start with this for makeup removing, and follow it with a jelly cleanser, a toner, spot treating some sun damage, and am about to purchase the Ponds facial moisturizer to try!
