Front panel indicator lamps are both tiny and recessed from the front panel, making them practically impossible to see unless viewed from directly in front of the unit. If not standing almost exactly at 90° from the unit, there is little chance the lamps will be seen. Also the text labels for the lamps is also nearly microscopic. Works well, but operating it is not the easiest.

Auto mode works well so it doesn’t need to run all the time once it cools the room down. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the volume while it’s running. A little loud for a small office when having a phone conversation.

One thing I don't care for is that it atomically starts on "eco" setting, instead of just regular "cool". Otherwise, so far it is a nice looking unit, pretty easy to install, and I like the remote feature.

This is my second Frigidaire window air conditioner; my first one (an older model) is in a different room. When this new unit was installed, I didn't notice – until I attempted to use the remote control – that the mode lights on the unit's front panel are extremely small and are slightly recessed from the front panel. This means, unless one is standing almost exactly 90 degrees in front of the unit, it is impossible to see the mode lights, especially from several feet away, sadly making the remote control useless in such circumstances.

Amps to BTUs performance for this unit is exceptional, and it is so quiet, and easy to install. The value price point is unbeatable too. Because of my application I decided to use the optional accessory 80 lbs. support bracket.

Installation was simple and after sealing off the sides with additional insulation foam and weather tape there is no draft coming through. My older air conditioner that one replaced was much heavier and larger so I was worried that this unit would not be powerful enough but so far its proven more than capable.
