The front fill is very easy to use and makes everything accessible! The pot itself is a great size (12 cups) and pours very nicely. The feature of paused brewing is wonderful especially for those mornings you cannot wait for that first cup! However I was blown away by how quickly it brews a entire pot! All the program features are very self explanatory and super easy to use. Overall I think it’s a great machine that preforms well and is also easy on the eyes. I’d definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a good quality coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Proctor Silex coffee maker makes an excellent and Fast cup of coffee. It’s so easy to use. Select the strength of coffee you wish to brew (we chose ‘Bold’) and after adding the desired amount of coffee grounds, just lift the upper lid and pour water in slowly until the water reservoir indicates the level you want: two cups, four cups, etc. - up to 12 cups. You can set up the coffee maker and choose “4 hour delay.” For example, if you’re having guests for supper later and you want to serve coffee and dessert afterward, you can pre-set the coffee maker with the 4 hour delay and it will automatically start brewing later and be ready for dessert! It’s easy to program the coffee maker before going to bed at night to automatically brew and be ready by the time we wake up in the morning. There’s also a safety feature I really love. If the coffee is still brewing and you’re eager to pour a cup, this coffee maker will automatically pause dripping for 20 seconds when you remove from its base, giving you time to pour before returning it where it then continues the brewing. So no burning your hand with hot coffee dripping! Or no pool of coffee accumulating and sizzling on the base before you sit the coffee carafe back down! It also has a 2 hour auto shutoff which is another nice safety feature. This is a good quality coffee maker and it makes a Very tasty cup of coffee. It would make a good wedding gift, too. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Proctor Silex - FrontFill™ Programmable 12 Cup Coffee Maker as a replacement for my son's house because his old maker takes 20-30 min to brew. This new Coffee maker is very fast considering the previous. It brews a full pot in about 4 min. I only gav 4 Stars because when trying pour coffee it drips from the pot. So we have to hold it over the sink to pour. Maybe a larger spout would help. Otherwise everyone is really happy.

Between getting myself ready, my son ready, my husband getting ready and all the stuff that pops up, a good cup of coffee is paramount, so when TryIt Sampling sent me the Proctor Silex Frontfill Programmable 12 Cup Coffee Maker for free in exchange for my honest thoughts, I couldn't have been happier!! I had an ANCIENT coffee pot that took about 15 minutes to brew a full pot, this Proctor Silex took maybe 7-8 minutes......FOR A FULL POT!!!! If your like me and you need that coffee as fast as possible, this pot has a pause button so you can pour yourself a cup before it's finished brewing!! This coffee pot has high performance brewing which brews at a high temperature for optimal extraction, meaning it makes sure to get every single grain off coffee flavor extracted from the coffee grounds. This pot is also programmable and offers 3 brew strength options and has a 2 hour auto shut-off, just in case you forget to turn that pot off before running out of the house!!! The front fill water reservoir and swing open brew basket makes life super simple, you could brew a pot still sleeping!! Lol!! The quality and durability of this pot has completely surpassed my expectations, I can't believe I had been putting up with such a horrible coffee pot before now! Every morning when I go to make the coffee I literally get excited, My husband and I race to see who gets there first!! Lol. I am completely in love with my Proctor Silex and I will NEVER subject myself to mediocre coffee making EVER AGAIN!!!
