Perfect Little Treat

Perfect Texture & Delicious

I have never tried the Dark Chocolate version so I was a little hesitant since I’m normally not a huge fan of dark chocolate. However, I must say these were delicious! I couldn’t put them down when I opened the bag. The only reason I gave it one less star is because I like the milk chocolate one better but I would still purchase this one in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother in law used to hide a box of Milano cookies from her kids; I didn’t understand that until I myself had children. I received Pepperidge Farm’s Milano Dark Chocolate cookies complimentary in exchange for my honest review. These delicate sandwich cookies have a layer of dark chocolate in between. The bittersweet dark chocolate is an excellent addition to these buttery cookies. There are 15 cookies in a bag. There is a nice balance of sweetness with a hint of salt which makes these distinctive cookies addicting in the best way possible. Each cookie is about three bites and while crunchy, melts in your mouth. And yes, I am hiding this bag from my own children, because these are mommy’s treat for getting through the day!

The cookie is thin and crisp, and the chocolate filling is smooth with a deeper cocoa flavor that doesn’t taste fake or sugary. Im not a huge dark chocolate person but these do not have that bitter dark taste. They are delicious and feel a little more fancy than regular chocolate cookies. Every flavor is delicious but the dark chocolate may just be my favorite.
