Both were great!
We tried out both kinds and they were both great! Honestly wouldn’t be able to tell “too” much of a difference if you didn’t know any better. The movie theater one tasted slightlyyy more salty whereas the double butter had just a bit more butter taste and a just tad bit less salty. My family loved both and honestly it was the best tasting popcorn we’ve had. We keep trying different brands and haven’t found one that tasted super buttery like they all claimed- until we found these! To top it all off, they cooked well too. Some brands I notice will have some burnt tasting pieces or have so many kernels left- these cooked perfectly.

I purchased the homestyle butter popcorn! It’s OK. Smells like fresh popcorn when popping. It’s not buttery. If you are like me who doesn’t care for the taste of butter this popcorn is it. It has a little hint of butter. Very very light on salt. It’s fresh with a nice crunch. Every single kernel popped. Less than 4 mins for a good bag of popped popcorn. But kind of tasteless like rice cakes. (I like rice cakes). I did devour the whole bowl. Very fresh, not stale. FYI: item shipped to home packed with care.

This is the worst popcorn to make. It has so much butter that the kernels are stuck together and burn completely when popping. Half the bag will pop the others will burn. Don’t buy this.

The popcorn taste old and stale but it hasn't expired based on the labeled date. There's a decent amount of butter but it's almost flavorless. Not sure I'd buy this again. Guess nothing beats movie theater popcorn.
