Tasted just like original!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the original flavor is still intact. Low sodium should still be just as delicious and they hit that on the head. Now I can follow the doctors orders and still eat what I love.

Less sodium, same great taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spam, eggs, & rice is a staple meal in my house. We used the 25% less sodium spam & no one noticed the difference. It is a little less salty, but it's got the same delicious Spam flavor.

All the flavor, with less salt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly surprised by how much I liked this version. It still has that classic Spam flavor and texture, but it's noticeably less salty, which makes it way more versatile. You can actually taste the meat instead of just the salt, and it doesn't overpower whatever you're cooking it with. It crisps up really well in a pan and works in everything from breakfast scrambles to rice bowls. If regular Spam feels like too much sometimes, this is the one to get.

Perfect for a quick and easy meal for the whole fam!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hormel kindly gifted us this product to review. Our family recently tried the Spam 25% Less Sodium version, and it was a big hit! The reduced saltiness made a noticeable difference. It was well-balanced and enjoyable for everyone, including our children, and my husband, who has hypertension. The flavor still had that classic Spam taste we like, just without being overwhelming. It paired perfectly with rice and a simple vegetable, making it an easy and satisfying option for a quick family dinner. Overall, this version really worked for us. We'll definitely be purchasing it again in the future, and we would happily recommend it to others looking for a lower-sodium option that doesn't sacrifice flavor.

Same great flavor - less sodium? Yes please!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SPAM (25% less sodium) was one of the three flavors I received free to try. My doctor has recommended I reduce my sodium intake, so when I received an opportunity to try the lower sodium SPAM for free, I decided to give it a go. It was a pleasant surprise to find that that less sodium didn't mean less flavor. If I hadn't known it was a lower sodium product, I wouldn't have been able to tell from the flavor alone. As far as I'm concerned, it's an easy trick to reduce my sodium intake, without sacrificing the flavor of a guilty pleasure like SPAM!

Lower sodium
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always go for this flavor over the original. This is the perfect level of saltiness without losing the spam flavor. My go to way of preparing is to cut into cubes and fry with some scrambled eggs and cheese. The whole family enjoys it.

My go to SPAM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to make SPAM guisao, and this is perfect for that. There's no taste or texture difference from the original SPAM. It cooks up and frys the same. When available, I reach for this lower sodium version. As I get older, I'm paying more attention to things I eat and this allows me to still enjoy SPAM. * I received a free sample of this product to review, but I have purchased this variety before and will continue to do so.*

I love spam
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been eating spam ever since I was little growing up. I was excited they came out with a less sodium version since as I got older I've been steering away from salty things. I love how this still taste like the OG spam but less salty

Not a fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spam sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. The less Sodium wasn't my personal favorite. It seemed like the flavor was missing and I ended up having to add salt to it. It would be good for someone that wants to decrease their salt intake

LOVE the low sodium
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to use the low sodium spam to fry in teriaki sauce to make spam musubi with. I think the lower sodium allows for using a higher sodium sauce without feeling too salty. Still a great flavor reminiscent to the original spam. Hormel sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program

nostalgic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received three cans of SPAM in exchange for a review, and I had fun putting each variety to the test. I used the turkey version to make SPAM turkey burgers, which turned out surprisingly flavorful and juicy. The Korean BBQ SPAM was perfect for fried rice—great balance of sweet and savory, and it crisped up really well. For breakfast, I went with the less sodium option and made classic fried egg and cheese sandwiches on English muffins. That one felt like the most versatile for everyday use. Honestly, it brought me right back to my time in Hawaii on the Big Island—there's something nostalgic about cooking with SPAM that just hits. Overall, I was impressed with the variety and how easy it is to incorporate into different meals. I'll definitely be picking up SPAM again during my regular grocery trips.
