Pretreat your tough stains with Shout Advanced stain remover.
Safe for all colorfast washables and works in all water temperatures. Simply saturate the soil on your fabric, rub in the gel stain remover to activate it, and allow it to act for 5 minutes. For dried on stains, allow this gel stain treatment to penetrate overnight before washing. After pretreatment, wash in laundry with regular detergent. A: What a great question! Shout® Advanced Action Gel can be applied to clothes up to a week before washing. However, we recommend avoiding pre-treating bright, khaki, or fluorescent colors for more than a few minutes prior to washing. I hope this helps! – Megan, SC Johnson Consumer Care

However, stains like pen ink or dyes may be impossible to remove, and we don't recommend using this to remove these types of stains. Q: Is this gel the same gel as the bottle w/ the scrubber top? I'm considering refilling my Shout gel scrubber top bottle w the spray bottle gel. PLEASE bring back the gel w/ the scrubber top. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really tried to love this and it removed my stains on colored clothes and was gentle. But when it came to a white shirt it did not help. My niece ran into me as she ate cherries and stained my white shirt. Since then I’ve washed the shirt and used the shout advanced action gel multiple times as instructed and nothing. Maybe only get this if you want to use it on colored things.

The pic doesn’t do the stain justice and this was after I attempted to rinse it off. As soon as I got home I sprayed it and let it soak. I proceeded to wash it and voila the deep stain was GONE!!

I use a little toothbrush and then wait five minutes before laundering. The only thing I did not like is that it says you cannot pre-treat Bright khaki or fluorescent colors because some of the color can come off if the shout is left to penetrate too long. Worked well for blackberries!

It has an amazing smell and the packaging stands out above others. The effectiveness of it was really amazing. I pretreated it prior to washing and was quite surprised how well it worked.

It sticks, stays and is extremely effective even with little to know mechanical agitation. It has a lite and pleasant smell that isn’t overpowering and an easy to use container.

For those everyday, slight stains …you know, a little bit of makeup here, a stray marker mark there it actually works! I was pretty surprised, to be honest. It's kind of nice to have something that tackles those little mishaps without a fuss. However, I tried it on a tougher stain, something that had really set in, and it didn't stand a chance. It's definitely not a heavy-duty solution. So, it's great for the small stuff, but you'll probably need something stronger for more serious stains. Overall, I'm happy with the results for what it's designed for. It's a good option to have on hand for those little accidents.

I have a toddler, so we have lots of messy clothes throughout the day, and my clothes are also getting dirty as a result. I tried this on the ice cream stains in the picture and the product worked extremely well! I’ve used it on multiple types of food stains and it has gotten them all.
