I can't get the liner to peel off and how do you know which one's the hook and which ones the loop has since doesn't give any kind of detail about that

Good for so many things
Use these for all sorts of things! Put them on the wall and a section of a curtain to keep it dark in a bedroom, hang wood letters on a wall, a banner in our office window, etc. I love that it is one big strip and you can cut it to the size that you need. This is my second time purchasing them.

What is there not to love!!!
The Scotch Reclosable Fasteners are a junk drawer MUST HAVE! I reach for these any time I need a quick fastener for just about anything. I've used them to hold my CB radio in place, to hang hooks, and even to keep things from moving in my camper when I'm going down the road. Absolutely LOVE them!!

For dry erase board...
I like fasteners for my light dry erase board attached to my bedroom closet door and adhesive are strong enough. I pulled my board out and refastened. Not to damage from finished paint door.

Fastens great to the packaging! But unfortunately, that's about it.
I really wanted to love this product. Would not come off the plastic, literally had to pry it off. I thought maybe it was just one or two dots, but it was ALL of them. When I finally managed to get some off, the adhesive was completely ruined. Waste.

I bought these fasteners today. I spent an 30 minutes peeling the fasteners off the plastic it comes on. I could see that a lot of the adhesive was left behind on the plastic. So, i added 6 dots to a small canvas painting that weighs about 2 pounds. About an hour after I thought it worked, i heard the picture fall off the wall. The stickers (still secured with each other) were left either on the wall or the back of the frame. I should have read the reviews first. Sounds like this has been an ongoing issue. Very frustrating.

Unusable because stuck to packaging
I was hoping this would be the solution to a community job bulletin board I am creating. However, as with other reviewers, I have found it impossible to remove the dots from the original packaging. If after much elbow grease, I can remove one, I the adhesive is stuck to the package and the dot is worthless. From the reviews, it appears this has been a known problem for over a year. It is disappointing that these are still on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FASTENERS WOUD NOT RELEASE FROM THE LINER. IF YOU COULD GET IT OFF THE LINER, ALL THE ADHESIVE STUCK O THE LINER, MAKING THE FASTENER UNUSABLE.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these fasteners in so many ways, from keeping pictures on the wall to helping the dog's costume stay on at Halloween. I keep the fasteners in the house and trust me they have saved us from domestic disaster more than once. The craft fastners are my particular favorite because not only can I put them into play in the house but they also come in handy in my numerous craft projects.
