Rid the weeds!
Still a little early to determine the effectiveness of the weed and feed. I have used Scotts products almost exclusively over the years and have been satisfied. This property is new to me, so there is much work to do.

Loyal Scotts user has Lawn decimated
We use Scotts products for decades , they have been our only source of lawn support and care. We now live on the NC coast from Long Island. We had to install St. Augustine at the water because of the environment , Dollar Weed has taken root . We went to Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed . Used exactly as directed. It's killing my Augustine NOT the Dollar Weed. It was also used on our centipede which is fine. see pic's

Scott's products have gone down hill over the last 4 to 5 years. I applied Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed to my established centipede yard and has not killed any of the weeds this year. Grass is green and so are the weeds...Not happy at all!

I’ve been reading the negative reviews as they popped up first. I have a quarter acre of all centipede lawn. That’s just the lawn. Been using this for decades and it always works just fine. Gotta say, looking at the neg reviews, I think most people simply don’t follow instructions. One guy put it down in January and was mad it didn’t work. One was mad there were clumps in the bag that wrecked his lawn… how a clump gets through a spreader I don’t know but… I always drop the bag a bunch (like a bag of ice) then I got an old stick I run around the spreader to bust up whatever’s left. Some people’s complaint pictures showed they didn’t even have grass, just hard dirt. Duh. Some of them had it looked like every grass type but southern grasses. Amazing. Takes me about an hour every year after it warms up, then I water and forget about it. Works fine… and it’s weed control, not weed eradication. And the thicker your lawn the more control. And don’t dump tons on thinking tons more is better. Geez. No, I don’t work for Scott’s. Did work every year through high school and college on golf courses I couldn’t afford to play on. Yes, they had all kinds of chemicals for the courses, but around the clubhouse and common areas… just plain old Scott’s and worked fine. Have a great day.

I’ve been using the Scott’s turf builder for years on my lawn with excellent results. I do have one question for the Scott’s company. If pets walk on the lawn after applying your products, will it affect the animals in any way? Is it dangerous?

I have been using Scott’s bonus S weed and feed for years. It all started last year and then again starting this season doesn’t touch any of the dollar weed other weeds. It barely turns the tip of them brown and doesn’t do anything. This is a false advertisement for weed control! This product should be named Scott’s bones S fertilizer. The fertilizer works great. The grass is nice lush and green. I bought a separate selective weed control treatment to knock everything out

We live on Amelia Island Florida.. Soil is basically sand. I have been using the Lawn care plan for the last 3 years on my St. Augustine Lawn. My Lawn is a beautiful Green all year. even January and February where nights can sometimes be in the mid 40's. By March 1 - my lawn is a carpet.. amazing. Everyone here has a lawn service, no one lawn looks nearly as good as mine.. I also apply Scotts Disease control every 3 months. the extreme heat and humidity here from May through October can destroy a lawn...

New florida formula not as good
The new florida formula does not work ad good as the old formula. The larger granuals don't spread as easily and it does not kill the weeds like the old formula. Been using your product for 25 years. Going to look elsewhere.
