AmLactin Daily Nourish Body Lotion

I used the original formula of Amlactin daily and loved the results! With one application a day, the rough itchy skin on the backs of my upper arms was soothed and smoothed. Yes it had a scent but I didn’t mind because it worked!! They have changed the formula- the new formula must be applied multiple times a day and still doesn’t receive the same results and yet the company is still claiming all the rave reviews and acclaim that was garned by the original formula.. it is basically false advertising at this point. I’d love to see a 3rd party review this new formula because it will not garner the reviews of the original formula. Maybe the whole point was to force you to have to use more product and buy more often. Unfortunately I will just be looking elsewhere. So disappointed that I now have to go searching again for an effective product.

Why did you change the formula?! New formula ineffective- doesn’t moisturize or heal my skin like before. So sad & will be finding a new lotion.

I have been using Amlactin lotion for a few years and loved it until they came out with the NEW AND IMPROVED version recently. It is extremely watery (first ingredient is water) and does not soften my skin as well as the old version. I have a skin condition where my skin does not exfoliate old skin like it should and the old version worked really well. The NEW AND IMPROVED product does not work so well. My skin is back to being flaky. Both versions have a negative smell when first applied, but the smell goes away after a short while. I have also had some issues with the lotion sometimes forming clumps after putting it on. I would love it if the company went back to the 0LD VERSION. Until then I will be looking for a new lotion to use.

It started helping kp and dryness but after 2 weeks I’ve seen no improvement and my kp has gotten worse, please this needs to be fixed

I’ve been using this for a few years now, it’s been working well and calm down my keratosis. The new formula however smells even worst than the previous and it’s not working for me anymore. My old bumpy arm are coming back 😭. Pls bring back the old formula.

I knew of this lotion as I had heard MD tell patients to use it for tough dry skin. Fast forward to now when I read about using it for KP. It has been 3 days of using it once a day after my shower, and it has done more for my KP than anything in the past. I have been struggling with it for more than 4 years. Can’t wait to see if it goes away completely. My skin is also amazingly soft on my legs now. Going to keep a back up bottle .

I’ve been using for about a week and so far I’m loving the way it makes my skin feel. I have the little bumps on my arms and this is the first lotion in a long time that’s actually improving that! The only reason I gave 4 stars is the smell, it has a little what I describe as a faint soy sauce smell. So what I do is wait for it to dry and then add a lightly scented top lotion and that seems to do the trick! All and all I will continue to use.

I’ve used and loved Amlactin Daily for years, but the new formula is worthless. It’s runny and ineffective. After two days my skin became itchy and irritated. After years of a successful skin care routine, I now have to find something new. Since my purchase, I’ve read lots of reviews say the same thing. At least I know I’m not alone. Very disappointed that you changed something so many people rely on to alleviate chronic skin issues.

I have been using this lotion for a little over a year to help clear up back acne marks and it worked…up until they decided to change the formula. I have been using the new formula for about a week and a half and rather than clearing up the marks, I would instead get hived and rashes that were so itchy. Bring back the old formula please 🙏🙏🙏

Smells awful! Like a previous reviewer’s rating; so bad and just like ammonia! I put the lotion on at night and now I stink! Not sure what the original formula felt and smelled like-but I’m guessing much better than this! I will be returning ASAP!

Ugly brown chicken skin on my neck vanished 75% in ONE use. And I've hated it for years!!!!! The fragrance is so so very slight. I was worried the way everyone describes amlactin in general. Even if you only like fragrance free you should def try this!!!!

This lotion is AMAZING. The new formula is TOP tier. It is incredibly moisturizing yet dries down fast. In this past I’ve not loved this bc it took forever to dry down. The new formula is God sent amazing. My skin is much less red, bumpy and so much softer. Plz never change!

I have a medically fragile son. One of his characteristics is a mild icthyosis. This is the only product we have used for more than 5 years. His dermatologist recommended it and it has improved his skin. Do not apply it to sensitive skin, like sunburn, cuts, or abrasions. It will not harm those areas, but can sting. I use a salve on those areas to coat them prior to using AmLactin. I found if i use it daily, My son's skin stays in better condition and he has less complaint of stinging. The product lasts a long time and you don't need alot to apply to a large area.

Instant dry skin releif. Certainly burns my face and I didn't see or feel much improvement. My arms and legs on the other hand, AMAZING. Chicken skin who, arms feel better and legs are looking and feeling beautiful.

Have used this lotion for several years. It works great. Received the "new formula" and it does absolutely nothing for my dry skin. Not sure why they tried to fix something that wasn't broke. Go back to original formula please!

I have used this lotion for years. Now the new formula is very very different and it is not doing anything for my dry skin. It is watery and it doesn't seem to have the same lactic acid ingredient. Very disappointed.

I’ve had severe eczema my entire life & this has been the only lotion I’ve ever used. Been a customer for the past 35 years, the product has only gotten worse especially the past few years. It’s not even effective or works anymore, whatever you have done to water down the product please go back to the way it used to be. My skin is now flaky & rough because it doesn’t work, I miss the old stuff.

New formula has made me break out all across my chest and arms. I loved this product and it was so helpful for me but I literally thought I received a dupe. Unfortunately I will have to look for something different. I didn't even mind the old scent because it worked so well. So disappointed ☹️

It's brown. Dark brown. In both bottles. I called customer service at Advantice Health, and they told me that it's OK if it's brown. They will not refund or replace. Also, expiration dates have disappeared from these bottles. This product is really expensive. Buyer beware.
