The main reason for this is that when a bag is popped, some of the oil and flavorings tend to stick to the bag rather than stay with the rest of the popcorn. Since this is higher in calories than the popcorn itself, it means that the popcorn that comes out of the bag will typically end up being slightly less in calories than the unpopped bag.     Not popping

    First bag was really good. Then next one caught on fits. Didn’t pop at all. Now most of the box isn’t as good as the first one. A lot of the bag doesn’t pop

    No problems with popping or leaking. Tastes great. However, serving size is 2 tablespoons per 160 calories! No thanks, will not purchase again.

    Poor leadership/Incompetence.

    First two bags on two different settings & only a few kernels popped. My microwave is months old & has no issues. This is also the same issue I read reviews on 2 years ago. First, and last time I buy this product. Terrible quality control & leadership to still have a problem like this from years ago. Will be filing up. Management is deteriorating at a dramatic rate.

    Leaking butter

    Bought a box of 12. 4 out of the 12 bags had the butter leaked out, so i was unable to use them. I also noticed the bag isnt full when the bags have been popped.

    Leaking oil

    Love the brand but bought a new box of (6) a few days ago and the first 2 bags I put in the microwave individually, of course both had more oil on the outside of the bag or as much as the inside, enclosed in a separate see thru plastic covering CAN YOU FIX THIS PROBLEM

    Butter leaks everywhere

    Writing this review makes me sad, because while I enjoy the flavor and the serving size, all too often the bags are leaking butter/oil inside the packaging, even BEFORE popping. I just bought a box of 12 and every single bag was leaking INSIDE the plastic packaging before even opening them. Even if I did pop any of these, there would be far less flavoring on the popcorn itself because a lot of it is already on the outside of the bag. Very disappointing.

    Great popcorn

    I love this popcorn. I always buy the package of twelve with the extra butter. The last box I purchased only half the the bag popped this happened to six out of twelve packages. I will not quit buying it. I was curious what could be the problem

    Nightly Routine

    Currently in my pantry. A staple in every home. Personally I eat popcorn every night as my after dinner snack. It’s not too heavy but still flavorful! My favorite way to eat it is with… jalapeño powder. The perfect spicy buttery snack. Thank you for being delicious every time!

    Butter leaks everywhere

    It's super frustrating that a third of the bags in a 12 pack have butter leaking out all over the microwave plate. I used to have no issues with these and now two 12 pack boxes in a row have this awful leaking issue..causes such a mess and feels like a waste.

    Not buttery enough. I thought Movie Theater was supposed to be the strongest butter flavor. This has salt but lacks butter.

    Very nice flavor of the butter and crunchy bite.

    I bought this to see how a big bag of movie theater butter popcorn and man was it good! The flavor of the butter and the nice and crispy texture was enough to make this my favorite popcorn brand ever! It outclassed everything else! From now on im buying this every time!

    We bought the 36 pack 3.9 0z movie theater butter always. It was the greatest. Almost all kernels popped every time. However we can’t find the 36 pack or 3.9 oz packs any longer. The mini bags and value bags pop only half the kernels. It is a waste of money now. We love this popcorn but if it doesn’t pop then it can’t be eaten.

    Quality issue

    Quality issue. The bags aren’t vented so they steam too much in the bag making popcorn have that stale quality and the bags are impossible to open by pulling.
