Fancy Feast Medley Tuna Florentine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lucy loved this food. At just 73 calories I was happy I did not have to add kibbles. It was rich and flavorful to fill her up.

Changed formula
They changed the formula of the Florentine wet cat food. They replaced the white cream sauce with brown gravy. But there's no indication on the outside of the can that the product has changed. That's deceptive. My cats won't eat the new stuff. Won't buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My newly adopted cat was only licking gravy off other recipes and not eating pates at all. I tried the Florentine recipes and she is eating the food.

SAME AS PRIMA VERA NOW
Florentine USED to mean it had a creamy, milky broth. This is exactly like prima vera (light, clear broth) with spinach. I have tried to order a couple of times because it seemed like a mistake. I predict they will eventually phase this out as it's now so close to the prima vera.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the Florentine variety no longer matches the creamy, milky broth you and your cat expect. We understand how disappointing it is when a longtime favorite changes, especially when it begins to resemble another recipe like Primavera. Your experience with repeatedly receiving the same clear‑broth version is important for us to know. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we’ll be sure to share your comments with our team. If you’d like help finding a texture closer to the original Florentine style, we’re here to assist. Not the same. They changed the white sauce to a brown gravy & cat refuses to eat it.

Thank you for your feedback with Fancy Feast Medleys Tuna Florentine with Spinach in a Light Broth Gourmet Wet Cat Food. We’re sorry to hear that the removal of artificial coloring has made this recipe less enjoyable for your cat. Without artificial colors, Medleys Florentine recipes may appear lighter or darker than before due to the color of the ingredients. The taste and texture of Fancy Feast Medleys did not change. Because of this we would not expect there to be any concerns when switching from previous Medleys cans to the new cans or back again. Changes are part of an ongoing process of continuous improvement to provide better products to our consumers and their pets. Not fan of new formula
I have a diabetic cat and the only wet food he would eat was the Florentine but he won’t touch the new formula. The other medley other than pate which he won’t eat are too high in carbs. This is very disappointing

Reformulation is terrible
This was my cat's favorite food until it was reformulated. Before reformulation the food appeared to be creamy. Then it was recently "reformulated" to remove artificial dyes so now the sauce is identical to what is used in the Primavera. Only difference in this versus the tuna Primavera is the carrots and tomatoes in the Primavera. My cat now refuses to eat it.
