Horrible

I picked up a box of creme filled chocolate cupcakes and was shocked. The filling is like a hostess filling now. Also the taste seemed to be off? Like what happened? Needless to say, I threw them out.

Top Tier

These are top tier cupcakes. Especially when left in the freezer and enjoyed with a glass of milk. I’m worried that these are being replaced by the Swirly Cupcakes. Please bring them back to the area!!! Forget the Swirly Cupcakes!

I used to buy Hostess chocolate cream filled cupcakes but I I tried a Tastykake one a few months ago and I am hooked. A much better chocolate taste and the icing is definitely better!! Love my Tastykake Crème filled Chocolate cupcakes!!

Disappointing

I grew up on Tastykake and boy have they changed and not for the better! Especially when I was growing up, they couldn’t have been any more delicious! Now, they always seem a bit stale, the icings are horrible, and there isn’t hardly any filling inside! Not to mention how small they are! The new packaging doesn’t help fix with the poor quality that’s inside the box either! It’s a shame to see such an icon company go completely down hill!

THIS WAS AMAZING

I bought these a week ago and I LOVED THEM. I love the big black chocolate, and the white cream inside is how it should be (just like how I like it ;). I love the way it feels in my mouth and the texture and taste of the white cream. I love when it gets on my face by accident and I get to lick it off. If you ever need a quicky too it's so easy to find somewhere to sit and take it out and get it done. I would buy just over and over again because I just dream of how I feel when I get to put one in me. PS: Feel free to msg me if you need any help getting it ;p!

Not what it looks like on the box!

These cakes have gotten so much smaller! They are no where close to the same size and net weight that they used to be a few years ago. In addition, the icing depicted on the picture on the outside of the box is not what is actually on the product packaged inside. The icing on the cakes rarely covers the whole cake and is not as thick as shown. I believe the term 'deflation' is what this is a perfect example of. Products getting smaller so they cost less to product, yet are priced higher to yield higher profits. It's just sad, because they used to be the best snack cakes around. Now, they just seem to be a waste of money.
