InnovAsian Frozen Sticky White Rice - 18oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had sticky rice from a microwaveable bag before and I enjoyed the convenience. The Innovasian Sticky White Rice takes 5 minutes to cook in the microwave and makes 3 cups. The rice cooked up perfectly and we enjoyed it with pork chops and gravy. I make rice in a rice cooker so I don't know that I would purchase this again because of the cost, but it is convenient. If you are short on time and want no mess, this microwaveable rice is great to have on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will always prefer fresh cooked jasmine rice from a rice cooker, but this was great if you’re in immediate need of rice. This was very easy to make- 5 minutes in the microwave and voila! No adding water, poking holes in package, etc. I was also surprised with the amount of rice provided. It depends on how much rice you eat, but we are an Asian family that eats rice with almost every meal. This was enough to serve 3 members of our family. This is perfect to have in your fridge just in case!

I like adding it as a side with suppers if I’m not sure what to make. This is quick and convenient. It can be made on the stove or in microwave and comes out tasting great no matter how it’s cooked.

The rice comes out fluffy, not mushy, and the veggies have a nice crunch. Flavor’s decent on its own, but even better with a splash of soy sauce or sesame oil. Quick, easy, and way better than I expected. Great for a fast lunch or dinner!

InnovAsian made it incredibly easy to deliver the traditional Japanese style sticky white rice we all know and love, to your family's dinner table in a matter of 5 minutes. Very minimal effort is required. Just remove bag of rice from the box, place in microwave and cook for 5 minutes. Being that fast and easy, I was excepting soggy, mushy rice. To my surprise, this was the best sticky white rice I've ever made at home. Light, fluffy and sticky, this rice was nothing short of delectable. We served it as a side dish with chicken and a veggie, but I've already ordered more to pair with sweet and sour chicken for a Chinese meal night at home. I especially love that my entire family thoroughly enjoyed the rice, they even asked for seconds. Highly recommend!

Cooking time is 5mins which is pretty quick and you cook it straight in the bag it comes in. I do prefer fresh rice, but I would definitely keep these on hand for those days where I need convenience and can just pop a bag in the microwave. I think this sticky rice goes well with curries or Asian inspired dishes.

The rice is unsalted, and the flavor mild,so after tasting we added some salt. The texture is fine. The bag was a little difficult to open, so I used a knife.

This is a good side dish and easily and quick to prepare while getting the main coarse ready. I also like that it is vegetarian because my daughter doesn’t eat meat products. It is a light and fluffy delicious sticky textured rice. I like to add butter and salt and pepper for added taste. My whole family approved of this product and we recommend it to others!
