Description

Introduce this Walden floor lamp into rustic, contemporary or eclectic settings. Wooden joints adjust the balance arm to change the height and angle of the shade. The black fabric cord threads through the square wood post body and drapes out the back. The satin steel base and accents enhance an industrial style, while a clean off-white fabric shade softens the look. A three-way rotary switch is located on the socket. The 3-way rotary socket switch will only work with a 3-way light bulb, otherwise this lamp will function with simple on/off switch at its highest setting. This lamp is smart outlet compatible. Bulb is not included.

I like this lamp a lot. It was easy to put together. The shade is more pure white than off-white, fyi. But it's a cool lamp--very industrial, though. I find the base to be very sturdy. You do have to make sure the adjustment knob at the bend is secure or it will lower on you as you read. :) That all said--I got this lamp on sale for $65.00. I'm not sure if I'd pay $115.00 for it.

Easy to assemble, Nice reading light

Overall a great design and perfect for what I need it for. A few things I wished were different, the light switch is quite close to the top edge of the lamp shade and is not the easiest to twist on and off, also I wished that you were able to adjust the head of the lamp a bit more, it only pivots at an angle and the lamp shade itself is fixed to that point.

A Couple of Minor Problems

The overall design of this lamp is great. However, quality probably varies. The one I received had two issues: (1) the shade, advertised as off white, is bright white, so I need to replace it; (2) the vertical piece doesn't fit squarely into the base, so it leans forward slightly. These are not major problems, but mean the lamp may not be good to go right out of the box. I am still working on the right sized wedge to get the lamp to stand up straight. When all is corrected, it will be a terrific looking lamp.
