We would highly recommend the Sealy encasement cover for your baby/toddler mattress. We bought and used this on our first child's mattress years ago. We bought a new one for our new baby since it had been years since we used it last. It works the same as last time. We are appreciative of its quality and protection.

It's very well designed and super easy to put on and close with a zipper. I love that it protects my baby against allergens, such as dust mites and pollen. It is soft and I feel comfortable using it in the crib. It feels durable and should last a few seasons of heavy use.

Plastic feel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crib mattress encasment would be really great if it wasn't for the paper/plastic feel it has to it. I know other mattress encasments have that same material a lot of the time to make it fully water proof, but I also have had some that that are much softer feeling and not noisy and are still waterproof. Other than the material, the product itself seems to be sturdy and made well. If the crunchy material bothers you, I would look elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this protective mattress encasement. It is easy to zip right around the mattress. I love that it is zipped on so I don’t accidentally pull it off everytime I change the sheets! I like knowing our baby’s bed is protected from any allergens and bed bugs. I know it helps maintain the quality of our mattress and keep our baby safer and healthier. It is a waterproof material but it is soft and stretchy so you can easily get it around the mattress and it doesn’t make a crinkly noise or anything when rolled around on. We put an additional waterproof mattress pad and sheet right over it easily. This is a great addition for any crib or toddler mattress!

DO NOT PUT IN DRYER
I'm sure this is a fine product if you DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. The tag says it can be dried on low, but I completely melted two of these using the lowest setting on my dryer.

Didnt fit
Doesn’t fit despite my Mattress being within guidelines. It’s short by a solid 2 inches. Maybe it’s because my mattress has square corners? Not sure. Annoyed.

i'll give this four stars cause of the price, it DID fit our baby mattress and was simple to apply however it is a bit thin so I'm not sure how the overall product will last. We just recently begin to lay our 6month old baby in her crib. Fingers crossed that this will support any future accidents.

Hi, thanks for the review. The mattress encasement provides a great barrier for bed bugs, dust mites, and other allergens. It is waterproof but for added comfort and protection, you may want to consider also using a SealyBaby waterproof crib mattress pad, they are easy to take off the mattress and wash as needed.
