GOYA Sardines in olive oil
Sardines in olive oil !! The sardines arrived not as shown on the box as pictured but all broken up in pieces inside the can !!! I purchased the Goya sardines many times before and they were always whole & delicious as pictured.Hesitant to buy again.

tasty but with bones
So I am on a mission to find a good sardine. I have tried Brunswick and found them to be delicious Goya was a true small sardine with high calcium content and firmly packed. But honestly the smaller size Brunswick was enough for me Also, the vertebrae of the fish were very visible and grossed me out and I am not squeamish. For that reason I will not be buying again

Large size
Large sardines But I do not trust the product information..ingredients include salt but I suspect it is more than just plain salt as I get a headache the day after eating these.. maybe msg??..As I am allergic to that and after it processes thru the digestive system is when you get the headache

Andrea's favorite sardines
I have been telling people about this brand of sardines, they are just delicious and the size is excellent. I keep plenty in the pantry, you can do lots of things with them. Mixed with a little mayo or lemon juice, it makes a wonderful spread for crackers or a sandwich. I made a parsley tabbouleh salad and put a few sardines over the top for a summer lunch. Just many, many things. If you hate sardines, these won't change your mind of course, but for the faithful, these are excellent.
